Qualifications The REC offers world-class qualifications in recruitment, designed to suit all career stages. All of our qualifications are regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations. Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (QCF) The Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (QCF) has been developed to provide recruitment and in-house resourcers with an industry-recognised qualification at QCF Level 2. This qualification is ideal for those new to resourcing. It provides a holistic introduction to the recruitment industry, with practical and authoritative learning. REC Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (QCF) has seven mandatory units, which are tested in a two-hour exam. Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice (QCF) The Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice (QCF) is the industry standard for recruiters. It covers everything from best practice, client relationships, sales and marketing, and important legislation. The Level 3 Certificate builds on the knowledge learned at Level 2, giving a thorough understanding of the industry. Level 4 Diploma in Recruitment Management (QCF) The Level 4 Diploma in Recruitment Management (QCF) gives experienced recruiters and managers an industry-recognised qualification at QCF Level 4. The diploma is perfect for senior consultants and account managers who want to take their careers to the next level. The diploma has six mandatory and five optional units. Students must complete eight units to be awarded the qualification. The units are assessed by a combination of exams and project work. Coming in 2016 Level 5 Diploma in Recruitment Leadership The Level 5 will be aimed at senior managers and directors who want a degree-level qualification in recruitment. The qualification has been developed with consultation from the industry, in-house recruitment teams and the REC and is designed to provide a strategic level qualification for the recruitment function. This qualification will, for the first time, include units that cover mandatory subjects as diverse as strategic business planning, financing a recruitment business, resourcing strategy or optional units that include subjects like international recruitment considerations and the full cycle of the tendering process. The Level 5 has seven mandatory and seven optional units. Students must complete a minimum of eight units to be awarded the qualification. The units are assessed by a combination of exams, projects and assess case studies.
