Track record Asia Title: European Floral Design Academy (EFDA) End (Stoas) China Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Poland; Greece; USA Secondary and higher education institutes 150.000,- / year 2000 Open International training program in floral design, implemented annually, including making of flower arrangements, project management for floral design, instructor course training of trainers (didactical knowledge and skills). The training includes entrepreneurship, shop lay-out, marketing and sales, aesthetic design, and hands-on training in various types of Dutch arrangements. The program also includes assessment and certification of trainers and training institutes; based on a successful assessment the institutes and schools receive a license to provide the DFA, ADFA, ARDFA courses and examinations. By 2010 18 institutes / schools had received an EFDA license. Setting up of the programme, international acquisition of trainees, training of trainers, technical assistance in implementing course material, assessment, certification. Project title: Founding and development of a cut flower training centre in Pune, Maharastra state. End PTC + India Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board, Pune 2.500.000,- 1999 2006 Founding and development of a market-driven cut flower training centre meeting international production and trading standards.
