School Renewal
The Four Touchstones Liberating Education - We open our hearts and minds, through quality teaching and learning experiences, so that through critical reflection and engagement each person is hope-filled and free to build a better world for all. Gospel Spirituality - We invite all people into the story of Jesus and strive to make his message of compassion, justice and peace a living reality within our community. Inclusive Community - Our community is accepting and welcoming, fostering right relationships and committed to the common good. Justice and Solidarity - We are committed to justice and peace for all, grounded in a spirituality of action and reflection that calls us to stand in solidarity with those who are marginalised and the Earth itself.
The Renewal Process This work of Renewal seeks to bring about positive change for the school community for students, staff, leadership, school board and the EREA Board. The process seeks to To authenticate renewal in the EREA context; To recognize the uniqueness of each school community within the context of the EREA network; To uncover the lived reality of the Charter within each school; To empower leadership which is based on partnership and service; To be collaborative in its process; To engage a cross section of the whole school community; To lead to learning which can be shared across the network; To affirm and celebrate authentic renewal, and To satisfy all requirements for accreditation as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition.
