Symmetric SHDSL Router TH200 series Two pairs (4-wire) G.SHDSL DSU/CSU for Multi Mega bit stream Description TH200, G.SHDSL modem, transports multi mega bit stream over one or two pair of copper wires using T C-PAM technology. This modem supports multiple data rates ranging from 64 Kbps to 4608 Kbps. TH200 equips with three DTE interfaces which includes, Ethernet and. The three different interfaces can work simultaneously by sharing the DSL bandwidth. The Ethernet interface meets IEEE 802.3 10/100 Base-T with MAC bridge functions, which allows -to- connection over the G.SHDSL lines. Application flexibility could be easily achieved by choosing user DTE interfaces and selection of data rates. The TH200 uses in-band Embedded Operation channel for controlling and monitoring the remote unit. The comprehensive diagnostics function developed includes G.SHDSL, E1 line performance monitoring, in-band numbering V.54 local and remote loopbacks and real time alarm report. Local craft port, LCD display and pushbuttons facilitate local configuration and diagnostics.

According to its point of deployment, the TH200 could function as SHDSL transport device in central office or SHDSL transport device at customer premises. Note: : SHDSL Transciver Unit-Central : User DTE interface : SHDSL Transciver Unit-Remote In reference to Figure ( a ), Figure ( b ) but then illustrates with 2 pair SHDSL loop point to point application. Figure ( b ) 2 pair point to point application To eliminate the possible loop failure, a stand by SHDSL loop 2 shown on Figure ( c ) automatically takes the role of SHDSL loop1 when loop 1 experienced failure. Working DSL1 Stand By Figure ( c ) 1+1 DSL loop protection To maximize the user bandwidth, Figure ( d ) illustrates a to connectivity at two loop application.

Figure ( d ): Ethernet Bridging To transport variety of user bit stream at nx64k bps time slot at customer premises, the shown on Figure ( e ) Facilitates the transport of these time slot to the two interface, eliminating CSU/DSU required, at central offices.
