3 Grooming/DCS Products Loop-V Loop Products V series Integrated Multiservice Access Platform (IMAP) OC3/STM1 Access, DS3 Access, CSU/DSU, T1/E1 Converter & DACS The Loop-V IMAP is available in two kinds of shelf: Loop-V , which is ANSI standard with connectors front and back, and Loop- V ET, which is ETSI standard with all connectors and plug-in access from the front. Loop-V is a versatile device with 3 high speed and 28 low speed slots, Loop-V ET supports all plug-in cards to be on one side. Loop-V IMAP series supports STM1 1+1 protection function, 1:6 T1/E1 interface card protection or 1:6 line protection function. Depending on the plug-in cards selected, this unit can be configured (a) as an OC3 (STM1/STS3) or DS3 access device, (b) as a T1/E1 CSU/DSU with drop and insert and voice capabilities, (c) as an E1 to T1 converter (or fractions of them), (d) as a digital cross-connect system(dacs), and (e) as a channel bank. 4 Grooming/DCS Products V series Mux Master/Wideband IAD CSU/DSU, T1/E1 Converter & DACS Loop Products The Loop-V is a versatile 9 ports IAD. Depending on the plug-in cards selected, this unit can be configured (a) as an CSU/DSU with drop and insert and voice capabilities, (b) as a 4 E1 to 5 T1 converter or fractions of them, (c) as sets of ICSU combined in one box, (d) as a digital cross-connect system(dacs), (e) as a channel bank, (f) as a combined network/management access device, & as a international voice gateway. 4
5 Grooming/DCS Products V4300 Mini DACS, E1/T1 Converter Loop Products The Loop-V 4300 Mini DACS E1/T1 converter plus V.35 interface provides both DS0 and n*64 Kbps cross-connect between any T1 and E1 ports and E1 to T1 format conversion functions. E1 to T1 conversion includes line format, A law to μ law conversion, and signaling bits association. Loop-V 4300 also support a DTE port operating from 56Kbps to 1984Kpbs and can be configured with one or two V.35 interfaces along with T1 or E1 function. In addition, the unit provides 1+1 line protection capability. This unit is suitable for applications involving 2,3, or 4 ports, E1, T1 or DTE (2 DTE Max.). 5
6 Loop Products AM Series - Access DCS/MUX AM3440 Access DCS-MUX The Loop-AM 3440 Access DCS-MUX is an access DCS-MUX that can combine various digital access interfaces into E1 or T1 lines for convenient transport and switching. The Loop-AM 3440 Access DCS-MUX provides access for a variety of interfaces, including Quad E1/T1, 10/100baseT Router, MDSL, G.703, U-interface, RS232, V.35, E&M, FXS, and FXO. These interfaces are compatible with other Loop products such as the Loop-H 3900 (MDSL) and the Loop-U 3500 (U). Using these products, a DTE interface can be extended over RS232 copper wire pairs. Up to 120 time slots for the MDSL, U, RS232, X.21, V.36, and V.35 interfaces are then multiplexed to fill an E1 or T1 line, with full flexibility of time slot interchange. 8 Loop Products O Products (Optical) O 9300 Optical Multiplexer 1U height unit 2U height unit The Loop-O 9300 provides ideal solutions for building fiber based E1 and Ethernet network. The Loop-O 9300 can multiplex up to 16 E1 signals for transmission over an optical fiber, resulting in longer reach without repeaters and superior performance compared to copper media. The Loop-O 9300 also supports an optional 10/100BaseT port, and optional Quad RS232 async ports to 64Kbps, and Quad V.35. Application for Loop-O include interconnections for LAN, WAN, SONET/SDH, ATM, and DLC. 3U height unit 8

10 IP Products IP6324 IP-DSLAM-Ethernet Switch Loop Products The Loop IP-DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiple) is a compact, managed, standalone IP DSLAM with layer 2 switching capability. The wirespeed switching and full VLAN supporting, both port-based and tagged-based, are the key to make the Loop IP-DSLAM more distinguished than any other. With the up-link 2 Ethernet port and 24 ports XDSL interfaces, including ADSL, ADSL+, ADSL2+, and SHDSL, the Loop IP-DSLAM is suitable for MDU, MTU, Campus, and remote access application with the reach of up to 6 km. Through proper daisy chain via the Ethernet ports, the Loop IP-DSLAM can easily expand the capacity up to 240 XDSL ports without sacrificing the wire-speed switching capability. 1U height Unit 2U height Unit 10
11 IP Products IP6100 High Speed Ethernet Access Loop Products The Loop-IP 6100 High Speed Ethernet Interface provides connectivity from high speed 100 Base-T full duplex Ethernet to either DS3 or E3 networks. IP6610 E1/T1-Router/Bridge Box The Loop-IP 6610 E1/T1-Router/Bridge provides connectivity from 10/100baseT LAN to E1/T1 WAN in a small metal box. IP6440 IP-I-MUX The Loop-IP 6440 IP Inverse Mux provides connectivity from 10/100 Base-T LAN to E1 WAN through multiple E1, up to 4 E1 links. Loop-IP 6440 also provides bridging function from Ethernet to E1 links. This unit can provide customers from 2Mbps to 8Mbps network bandwidth. Loop-IP 6440 offers automatic E1 channel failure detection and can reassign the number of E1 channels for transport of Ethernet traffic. 11
12 Loop Products E1/FE1 CSU/DSU Products E1200 FE1 CSU/DSU series A Multi-port unit provides an economical solution to E1 network access where servcice providers can map multiple userse into one E1 stream. This versatile series provides up to four sets of DTE equipment operating rates from 56 to 1984 Kbps and one Drop and Insert DTE operating at E1 (2048 Kbps) for interfacing to devices such as PBXs. Selection of interface: E1, V.35, & EIA530 E1500FE1 CSU/DSU series Stand-Alone & Rack card Single and Dual DTE ports series with CLEAR CHANNEL provides an economical solution for E1 network access. With dual DTE ports operating from 56 to 2048 Kbps, the Loop-E 1500 enalbes users to interconnect LANs and WANs, CAD and CAM, video conferencing, mainframe hosts, and others. 14 Loop Products Integral Access Shelf (IAS) series C5500 IAS series A distributed-power Integral Access Shelf with 16 plug-in card slots designed to accept a mix of Loop access series rack cards. This includes: Loop-E and Loop-T CSU/DSU fractional products; Loop-U(up to 128Kbps), Loop-M(up to 33.6Kbps), and Loop-H(up to 2.3Mbps). C5400 IAS series A centralized low-cost derivative of the Loop-C 5500 with 15 plug-in card slots. The types of plug-in card can be either low-cost non-manageable card or managed card. 14
