Are they as thick as the side panels? Cheaper units often have shelves and supports unsuitable for long term use, meaning they ll break under continuous weight. Flat pack cabinets have numerous components that must be assembled and these unsightly multipurpose holes are purely there to reduce construction costs. Our cabinets are drilled for specific use with over 500 variations available. All are made using traditional dowel & glue joints, squared under pressure, factory assembled and supplied rigid. They are superior to flat pack but, as assembling kitchen cabinets on site can be time consuming and costly, not necessarily more expensive.
