Who is MCP Background Independent operator Recognized by ITU Member of GSMA License to operate in all international waters Its own roaming agreements with >340 operators Wholly owned by Telenor, one of the world s largest mobile operators Leading maritime mobile operator World leader in the Cruise & Ferry segment > 200 contracted vessels > 20 million unique users last year 800 & 900MHz Offshore spectrum

Today: Telenor operates 16 GSM offshore installasjons Backhaul via Tampnet Radio link O&G JV operated network Offshore vessels have access to land based GSM service via GSM base station located on platform installations During 2015 - Telenor will transfer the responsibilities for the GSM installations on NCS to MCP Platforms Snorre Heidrun Valhall Gullfaks Grane Ekofisk Heimdal Oseberg Sleipner Aasgard Troll Draugen Norne Ula Draupner Skarv 3

Integrated Operations is about tying all these suppliers, employees and systems together on a common platform Integrated operations: With integrated operations, specialists can offer their expertise to several platforms or offices at once, without having to travel offshore (ref. Statoil) Real time data: The key to making it work is connectivity meaning that people are connected everywhere in the world and that real time information is transmitted instantaneously by highspeed data connection anywhere in the world, to anyone who needs it. 4

4G/LTE i Nordsjøen How MCP can bring a value proposition to the Oil&gas industry CTO/COO Knut Fjellheim

Onshore 4G/LTE drivers - Management of M2M connected devices The IT-revolution has created new opportunities to collect and analyse data for the purpose of managing M2M devices and behaviors The automotive industry is getting very serious about realizing the vision of connected cars, which require mobile broadband connectivity. Early adopters such as GM and Audi recently introduced their first car models with embedded LTE in the US LTE technologies will dominate cellular Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications by 2018 17

4G/LTE The connectivity key Integrated operations: With integrated operations, specialists can offer their expertise to several platforms or offices at once, without having to travel offshore (ref. Statoil) Real time data: The key to making it work is connectivity meaning that people are connected everywhere in the world and that real time information is transmitted instantaneously by high-speed data connection anywhere in the world, to anyone who needs it. 18

LTE advantages LTE will enhance connectivity Between rig and platform, rig and shore, rig and OSVs For individuals For M2M devices LTE is mobile Always connected - during and after rig moves Avoid re-pointing of radio links LTE is Low latency High capacity (20/70 mbps (uplink/downlink) Long reach (up to 65 km from platform) LTE is cost efficient Reduce VSAT dependency Allocation of costs to actual user

LTE Offshore requirements Rig Upload capacity of minimum 16Mbps per rig 1-5 rigs per sector Vessel Upload capacity of minimum 4Mbps per vessel Range Approximately 80% are within a radius of 40 km from a platform. The rest of the operations are within a radius of 60 km from a platform. The coverage should include areas around Oil&gas operated platforms on: The Norwegian continental shelf British continental shelf Option: Other areas may be included in the future 20
