Guidance to submit a report and re-apply for funding Connecting Classrooms 2012-15 This simple guide has been designed to help you complete your online final report for your Connecting Classrooms grant or complete your online report and re-apply for additional funding. Online reporting and re-application Since the October 2013 application round, partnerships have been invited to submit online applications. To complement this, we have developed a portal specifically for grant holders to submit a final report against their approved online application or report re-apply for funding at the same time. If you are re-applying for funding, it is mandatory that you complete the online report first. Once you submit, this will form the basis of your new application. If you are re-applying for funding with a new partnership, you must submit a final report and start a new application for funding. Any school in the partnership can start and submit the report and re-application. However, they must be registered on Schools Online. Any school in the partnership can contribute towards the report and re-application as long as they are registered on Schools Online. Only the UK school nominated to sign the contract on behalf of the partnership with the British Council can complete the Visits and Expenses section. To do this they must also be registered on Schools Online. To gain access to the online reporting function, grant holders will first need to login to their Schools Online account. Once you have logged into Schools Online, you will be presented with a summary of your applications. Applicants overview My applications list Here you will see links to all of the online grant applications your school is involved with. You will need to locate your approved applications list. This can be located below your current applications. To access the report, you will need to click on the partnership reference: The reporting tool can be opened in a separate window. The summary below shows the four mandatory sections you are required to complete for your report. Other will always remain ticked as this is an optional field: Once you complete each section, the icon on the left will change from an exclamation mark to a tick, although you will still be able to edit if necessary. Once all sections are completed you will be able to submit your final report or report and re-apply for funding. We recommend you review your report before you submit. Submitting a final report Once you are satisfied with your final report you should select the icon. This will submit your final report. You will be unable to edit your final report once it has been submitted. Once you have submitted your final report you will receive an automated e-mail to confirm this.
