How to Download and Upload Tender Documents Guide Access the LG tender box website www.lgtenderbox.com.au and sign in Your name and business name will now appear under the home tab www.lgtenderbox.com.au 1
Choose Tenders Current to select the relevant tender. Open the tender by clicking on the tender link Click Download Now to access the tender documents www.lgtenderbox.com.au 2
You will be taken through to the Download for Tender Documents screen. Click Download Documents to begin the download process Once Download Documents is clicked you will be prompted to Open or Save the tender documents. This message will differ slightly depending on the internet browser being used, examples from Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer are shown below. To save a copy of the documents to your computer you must select the Save option. The documents will then automatically be saved to the Downloads folder on your computer. Google Chrome also saves the documents straight to this location Mozilla Firefox example Internet Explorer example A zip folder will now be saved in your Downloads folder. Please note all computers with Windows operating systems, of Windows 7 or above, come with an extraction/zip program by default. Submitting an electronic Response To submit an electronic response, as per the Download process Sign in and click the tender link. Then select the Click here to submit an electronic response link Now you are able to Drag and Drop your completed tender documents into the upload area www.lgtenderbox.com.au 4
To upload your response to the tender open the folder on your computer that contains your tender documents. You now need to Drag and Drop your completed documents from your folder into the tender upload area. Once you have dragged and dropped all of the required documents into the upload area click Submit Response. A file transfer box will appear on the screen showing the progress of your upload. Do not navigate away from this page while the upload is in progress. www.lgtenderbox.com.au 5
Your upload is successfully completed when a response receipt confirmation number and list of documents uploaded is shown on the screen titled Electronic Response Confirmation page. These details will also be emailed out to you If you receive an error message, the uploaded files are not correct or files are missing you can submit another response by going through the upload process again. Ensure once completed you see the response receipt confirmation screen again and check all details to ensure they are correct. Keep the email confirmations, as these contain the date and time your submission was made and list the files that were submitted. If you do not receive a confirmation, on the screen or by email containing your receipt number and list of documents uploaded, you have not successfully submitted your response. Submit your entire tender response again or contact the helpdesk on 1800 779 027 for assistance. If you submit your response, and forget to upload additional documents, please upload other documents in a separate response and ensure a response receipt confirmation is received for all separate uploads. All separate responses made are recorded in the electronic tender box in folders under your business name. No further information can be submitted via the LG tender box site once the tender has closed.
