Select the area to map using our emotion software, launch your drone, and the swinglet CAM will fly, acquire images and land itself.

01. Plan your flight sensefly s intuitive emotion software makes it easy to plan and simulate your mapping mission. Plan: Import your base map of choice and draw a polygon over the area you want to map. Then define your required ground resolution and image overlap. emotion will automatically generate a full flight plan, calculating the swinglet CAM s required altitude and displaying its projected trajectory. Flying over uneven terrain? Use emotion s 3D mission planning feature to take into account elevation data when setting the altitude of mission waypoints and the resulting flight lines - improving ground resolution and increasing mission safety. Simulate: To ensure your mission s success, run a virtual flight that simulates wind strength and direction. Then simply update your flight plan and prepare to launch.

02. Fly Launch: To launch the swinglet CAM, shake it three times to start its motor, then throw it into the air. The artificial intelligence built into the sensefly autopilot continuously analyses data from the Inertial Measurement Unit and the onboard GPS to control every aspect of its flight. Monitor: Using emotion ground station software you can view the swinglet CAM s flight parameters, battery level and image acquisition progress in real time. Control: Made a mistake with your planning? You can reprogram your drone s flight plan and landing point during its flight.

03. Check Assess: Postflight Terra LT, supplied with every swinglet CAM, enables you to quickly check image overlap and create a lowresolution orthomosaic while still in the field. Such quick orthomosaics also make perfect background maps for more precise flight planning in emotion. Export: Once you are confident of your flight s success, export the geotagged images you acquired to your professional photogrammetry software of choice to create high-resolution orthomosaics and 3D models.
