Soldiers from a logistics regiment were in a convoy and travelling north. It was raining heavily and the soldiers had been driving for 6 hours. The vehicles in the convoy were mainly landrovers and large trucks. Suddenly one of the drivers lost control of his truck. The truck drove into a motorway bridge. 2 cars were overtaking the truck and crashed into it at speed. The police and ambulance services are at the scene of the crash. So far we know that one of the car drivers has been killed and the other is badly injured.
