Mastering MS Excel (VBA)- Writing Macros and User Defined Functions 23-25 August 2015 Course description and course content Target audience Today Excel is part of our professional life in finance. The more often and the more complex tasks we try to use it for the more frequently we face the true or illusory limits of the software. Those who need to perform long and complex but repetitive tasks on a daily basis or are involved in special calculations not supported by the built-in functions will welcome the knowledge of macro writing. Using that you may dramatically increase your efficiency especially if you are working as a controller, financial engineer or have to quickly gain specific information from huge databases. Participants should have a strong knowledge of Excel and should bring along their own laptops. Course objectives This training introduces you into programming Excel. Macros and user defined functions ease the life of many financial professionals dealing with repetitive jobs, involved in special calculations like financial engineering or reporting on huge databases.
