This ensures the unrivalled maneuverability response, excellent agility and precision steering of the boat. 4. Built-in fail-safe ensures the boat remains within reach. When the signal is weak, the boat will stop going forward and make a big circle. This makes the boat come back to the range you can control instead of going out of range. 5. Internationally patented twin independent hoppers. The newest and dependable hopper release system makes the hopper door accurately fitted, excellent for all baits even the smallest particles. The two hoppers can be individually opened. 6. 4. Charging and Battery Maintenance Notes: i) We suggest to use the chargers supplied by the bait boat manufacturer. ii) iii) iv) Please make sure that both the boat and Transmitter are switched off while being charged. First charge of the new battery to fully charged will take approximately 8 hours. First charge of the handset to fully charged will take approximately 8 hours. v) Dry cells (i.e. non-rechargeable batteries) may be used in the transmitter. Charging the handset battery: A. Charge the handset battery with home charger: 1. Place 8 AA batteries in the compartment on the back of the remote control and close the lid. 2. Plug the charger into the wall socket and connect the other end to the charging socket of your transmitter. A red light will light up. If the light on the charger is green, the battery is fully charged. B. Charge the handset battery with car charger: 1. Place 8 Ni-MH AA batteries in the compartment on the back of the remote control and close the lid. 2. Plug the charger into the cigarette lighters and connect the other end to the charging socket of your transmitter. A red light will light up. If the light on the charger is green, the battery is fully charged.

Charging the Lead-Acid battery: A. Charge the Lead-Acid battery with home charger: 1. Connect the white connector of the battery wire to the white connector of the home charger. Plug the charger into the wall socket. A red light will light up. 2. If the light on the charger is green, the battery is fully charged. B. Charge the Lead-Acid battery with solar panel charger: 1. Connect the white connector of the battery wire to the white connector of the solar panel wire. 2. Try to slant the panel 90 degrees to the sun to maximize the panel's solar exposure. Make sure the panel is out of shade. Note: Sun hitting the panel at a low angle will greatly lower charge efficiency. With the charging socket in the boat, you can charge the Lead-Acid battery directly with the chargers and you don t have to take the battery out of the boat but please be sure that the power switch is off.

5. Operation: A. Handset a. Go forward: push the right hand joystick forward. b. Go reverse: push the right hand joystick backward. c. Turn left: push the right hand joystick left. d. Turn right: push the right hand joystick right. e. Open the left bait hopper: push the left hand joystick left. f. Open the right bait hopper: push the left hand joystick right. g. Release the left rig (hook): push the left hand joystick up. h. Release the right rig (hook): push the left hand joystick down. i. Motor trim: balance the motors speed and keep the boat goes straight. j. Lights on/off: Turn on/off the lights from range. k. Lure hopper on/off: run the optional lure hopper in the back of the boat.

B. Bait Boat C. Load and dump the bait. Left hand joystick operates the bait hopper doors. a. Close the hopper doors manually by moving the doors upward from below. b. Load either or both bait hoppers with your favorite particles. c. Moving the left hand joystick to the left will drop the left bait hopper door. The port navigation light will flash simultaneously. d. Moving the left hand joystick to the right will drop the right bait hopper door. The starboard navigation light will flash simultaneously.

D. Load and release the rigs. a. Insert your line(s), rigs or hooks on either or both rigs holder in the back of the bait boat. b. Moving the left hand joystick up will drop the left rigs. The port navigation light will flash simultaneously. c. Moving the left hand joystick down will drop the right rigs. The starboard navigation light will flash simultaneously. E. Sail the boat. a. Turn on the radio control transmitter (handset). b. Turn on the boat by pressing the on and off waterproof rocker switches. c. Place the boat in the water and sail to the desired destination. NOTE: *Always turn the handset on first and then the boat. To turn off - turn off the boat and then the handset. This will ensure that you are always in control of the boat. Basically the handset is the brains for the boat, if the battery becomes low you may lose control of the boat. *The boat is steered by increasing or decreasing the right joystick. Pushing the joystick full quickly will put more stress on the electrical components. On full speed the boat will give approx 2-hour use. By decreasing the speed slightly on the joysticks the boat is still very quick but the battery life will increase up to 3-4 hours. F. Trim the motor. It is probable that the boat will not drive absolutely straight as a result of the rotation of water within the pumps, differing loads, winds and water conditions. The motor trim knot on the up-left of the remote control handset has little effect on either motor. Continued correction using the motor trim knot is therefore necessary for straight line running. a. Turn the motor trim knot anticlockwise, the boat will turn left. b. Turn the motor trim knot deasil, the boat will turn right. G. Turn on/off the lights. a. To turn the on/off with the top right ON/OFF switch. b. The two front lights will only work when the boat is driving forward. H. Return the boat to the bank side. a. Do not stop or pick up the boat by the aerial, as damage will occur. b. Switch off the boat, then the transmitter. Fail-safe: The Range of the boat is 500m-1000m depend on weather and environmental conditions. In case the signal is weak, the boat will no longer go forward but make a big circle and come back to the range you can control.

Additional notes i) It is important that the transmitter is not turned off before the boat. ii) Continued starting, stopping & reversing of the boat is expensive on battery life. Smooth operation at all times is recommended in order to ensure a running time of approximately 2+ hours. iii) Even though the Waverunner bait boat is waterproof, condensation may make the inside of the boat a bit damp during use. It is recommended that the Bait boat be cleaned with a damp cloth after use. It is important that the bait boat and remote control handset be stored in a warm and dry place when not in use, in order to prevent condensation build up. iv) After use ensures all batteries are fully charged before you pack the boat away for the next trip. Once every two months, Give them an overnight charge to ensure the battery remains fully charged to prolong their economic life. The boat and transmitter batteries should be stored outside the boat and handset. If the boat is not going to be used for some months then every 2-3 months give the boat v) It is recommended that a bank side or solar charger be used to top up the battery after every trip. vi) The transmitter should be protected from water at all times. vii) It is advisable not to leave the boat in direct sunlight. Because the boat is black it absorbs the suns energy and can get extremely hot causing condensation at night. This may cause problems with the components in side and therefore will invalidate your warranty. It is strongly advised to leave battery lid of when boat is not in use.
