Swofford, Ed.D., Executive Director 2002 Spring Credential Workshops The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing invites you to attend the 2002 Spring Credential Workshops. The purpose of the workshops is to share information about recent changes to statutes, regulations and procedures that affect credential requirements and applications. The workshops will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will end at noon. Turn right into San Luis Obispo County Office of Education (across from Cuesta College.) Go past construction site along frontage road to second building on right. Turn right on California to first signal. Stay in center left-turn lane. Turn left onto Foothill Blvd and continue three blocks to next signal with is Santa Rosa Street. Turn right on Santa Rosa (heading north toward Morro Bay). Santa Rosa turns into Highway 1. Stay on Highway 1 toward Morro Bay for approximately 6 1/2 miles. Turn right into San Luis Obispo County Office of Education (across from Cuesta College.) Go past construction site along frontage road to second building on right. TUOLUMNE COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION: Bonnie Hahn, (209) 536-2011, 175 South Fairview Lane, Sonora, CA 95370 From the West: Take Highway 108 through Oakdale and Jamestown. Highway 49 will merge with 108. Approximately 1 mile past Jamestown take Highway 49/Downtown Sonora exit. Continue on 49 into Sonora. The Fairgounds will be on your right. Turn left just prior to Sonora Gold Lodge Motel which is across from the Fairgrounds. From Angels Camp: Take Highway 49 through downtown Sonora. The Fairgrounds will be on your left. Turn right just past the motel. County office is directly behind the motel. It is a two story beige building with dark green awnings. Parking available behind the office. RSVP Bonnie. STATE TRAINING CENTER, SACRAMENTO Space is very limited at the State Training Center, if you wish to attend either of the Sacramento live workshops you must make a reservation. The State Training Center is located at 1515 "S" Street, North Building, Suite 108, Sacramento, CA 95814-7243. The nearest cross streets are 15th Street and R Street. It is on the first floor of the North building. You will find it most convenient to enter the State Training Center from the 15th Street side that leads directly to our reception area and classroom directory. A parking garage is located on R Street between 15th and 16th Streets. The daily fee of $6 does not include in/out privileges. Note: The parking garage does not accept $20 bills. Metered parking is available on 15th and 16th Streets between P & Q Streets for $3 per day (12 quarters). Do not park in nearby street-level parking lots as these are pre-paid reserved parking for employees in other offices. If you park in one of these lots, your car may be towed.
