1 School of Nursing College of Human and Health Development 800 North State College Boulevard, Fullerton, CA / T: Approved ANATOMY and PHSYIOLOGY Course List The School of Nursing has created an approved course list for our prospective applicants. This document is to help determine which course from a California institution is approved for the School of Nursing prerequisite requirement. It s important to note that with the constant update and change within the community colleges and universities, the School of Nursing will do its best to update this document every year. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that the course still meets our requirements by reviewing the course description in the institution s catalog. If a course is not included in the list below for Anatomy and Physiology, and you believe that the course meets the School of Nursing prerequisite requirement, please nursing@fullerton.edu with a course description and a syllabus for a detailed review. Please note that an official review will only be made if a syllabus is included. All prospective applicants are required to earn a B- or higher in all science prerequisites. The School of Nursing will permit only one (1) repeat for the science prerequisite where the higher grade will be considered. In addition, if an institution offers an integrated Anatomy and Physiology course, both sections (I & II) must be taken at the same institution. If the lab component is separate from the lecture course, an applicant must enroll into both courses (lecture and lab) to fulfill the Human Anatomy and Physiology requirement. No online lab courses or AP Credit can satisfy science prerequisites.
