Car Park Management Program PP-20/50 Order Code: PP-20 to PP-24 The MODPARK car park management program PP20/50 is a simple and attractive program that caters for the special needs of car park management and of access control management. The program uses a standard MS-Windows operator's interface. The car park operator works with images rather than with menus for the most basic functions like occupation control, alarm monitoring and direct unit control. More sensitive functions are protected by password. Central management functions and central cashier functions can be active in the same computer. The program works on all PC-AT compatible PC from a PC AT-486 up to the most powerful chip configurations. It uses standard MS-Windows NT or Windows 2000 and a standard SQL database. The system can be networked and allows for remote access via telephone lines according to the procedures defined by Microsoft. Several PP20 programs can operate in one network to share the task of managing larger installations. The database is documented and can be accessed by any other software using an ODBC driver. The package is designed to work with all languages that are implemented by Microsoft. All print out and screens are loaded from a separate text file at the start of the system. Thus any language even Chinese and Arabic can locally be implemented by translating the text with a text editor. C:\Daten\Documentpers\Tech_Be\Aktuell\PP-50-E-LogoV2.DOC Page 1/6
The PP20/50 allows performing a wide range of control and management functions: - Count and control the occupation of the different zones of a car park. - Monitor extraordinary movements and alarms from the ticket units - Monitor the On-Line status of all devices - Control the ticket units directly from the central - Supervise the cashier functions permanently - Register all movements for later statistical evaluation - Manage the long-term parker data base (20.000 standard) - Statistical analysis of the movements defined by the client himself - Password protection - Switchover to manual cashier program PP20/50 screens and messages and printouts can be translated and modified by the customer into any known language as long as a MS-Windows version in this language exists. Differences between PP20 and PP50 PP20 is a single user program with all the functions of the PP50. The PP50 is a 32 Bit program and is based on a multi tasking concept to work in a networked environment. It operates on Windows NT and Windows 2000. The different functions of the package can run on different computers in the network. See the following overview of the PP50 soft - and hardware concept.
