Local Backup to NAS using Windows Client Software Enable "CloneMe" feature on NAS via the Web Interface to start the rysnc service. NOTE: If the HDD's were formatted in OLD Firmware, kindly modify the Existing Users Password "Under Access rights Management"tab. Click on Key icon infront of the respective user to modify the password. You can re-enter the same password.

Local Backup to NAS using Deltacopy Client Software Right Click on "Add New Profile" option, it will display the following screen. Kindly input the required details to Sync the NAS server with Client Software. Input any Profile name & enter the IP address of NAS in Server IP/ Hostname field. Click on Browse button infront of Virtual Directory Name.

You can select the desired account & click "Test Connection" tab below to verify the settings: Once the Profile is added, it will appear under "Existing Profiles" List. Click on it & select Authentication tab to enter the login details for selected Account.

Local Backup to NAS using Deltacopy Client Software Once you enter the Login details, click on 'File List' to add the folders to be backed up at defined location as shown above. You can define different schedule for added profiles by clicking on "Modify Schedule" tab.

Local Backup to NAS using Deltacopy Client Software Once you apply the settings, it will prompt you to enter the system password as above. Enter the details & click OK. You can check the Data that is backed up on NAS under rsync folder in the respective user account.
Local Backup to NAS using Qtdsync Client Software Install QtdSync Client Software on Windows System. Load the Client software from Start Menu>>All Programs or by QtdSync icon on the desktop. It will display the below interface: QtdSync Software Interface
Local Backup to NAS using Qtdsync Client Software Click the green button as highlighted above to add the source data folder. This will bring up a sub menu as shown below: Select the highlighted option as above. In this way, you can add the local folders to be backed up on NAS. Under this tab, you can add/ delete/ edit the folders for backup process.
Local Backup to NAS using Qtdsync Client Software Define the Settings & Schedule for backup task as shown below: Once you apply the Schedule settings, it will prompt you the below message:
Local Backup to NAS using Qtdsync Client Software Define a rsync path for NAS by clicking the "Set Backup Destination"option under Destination tab as shown below. Select 'Remote rysnc path' It will direct you to QtdSync Remote User window: Enter the NAS IP address in Server field & input the desired Account details as shown above & apply the settings. It will display the below screen (Fig a). Select the configured account.

Once the settings are being saved, it will display the screen as shown in Fig b. Either you can manually run the defined backup set by clicking "Run Checked Backup Sets"or it will run automatically on defined schedule. It will show the status as shown below (Fig c) if you manually run the backup task.

Local Backup to NAS using Qtdsync Client Software You can check the Data that is backed up on NAS under rsync folder in the respective user account. NOTE: 1. DeltaCopy: only copies the part of file that has actually been modified. This reduces the data transfer to just a small fraction of File size hence saving time and network bandwidth. 2. QtdSync: Creates Incremental folders on defined schedule basis.
