Annual Parish Meeting: 30 November 11.30am Please note that reports from the parish groups should be in to the office no later than Monday 10 th November 2014. This will enable time for the office to produce the documents and have them available in advance of the meeting. ****************** CAN YOU HELP? We are appealing for help from our parishioners in joining our team preparing morning tea and cleaning up afterwards. Our current members have almost all been members for many years, and they would appreciate the help of quite a few volunteers. At the moment, most are on duty on a five to six week roster, and we would like to extend this to eight or nine weeks to allow a decent break between duty days. ANY NEW MEMBERS would be welcome with open arms. PLEASE CONTACT WENDY ARMSTRONG 9571 0297 IF YOU CAN ASSIST. ********************** Mothers Union Christmas Cards NOW available @ $6.50 per packet. After the Sunday services ************ STATE ELECTIONS The Victorian Electoral Office will be setting up pre-polling booths in St George s Centre commencing Monday 17 November through to State Election Day on Saturday 29 November. Non perishable foods such as tinned hams, puddings & cakes, as well as tinned fish, pasta & cereal would be much appreciated by the volunteers who work so hard in order that the less fortunate may share a little in the joys of Christmas. Goods and cash donations can brought to the Church or left in the office. We have a Christmas cake to raffle for St Alban s made by Sherry Mackay who is renowned for her cakes, and tickets can be purchased from Leigh Mackay, Helen Baddeley or from the Office. Thank you for your ongoing support for our friends in need. ********************** ANZAC Working Group The first meeting of this group will be held on Sunday 16 November at 3pm-4.30pm.
