Activity 9 Can you Keep a Secret Stick Puppets You will need: Can You Keep a Secret character activity sheets 0 and - or draw your own Cardboard - or photocopy the activity sheets onto card Googly eyes / PVA glue (optional) Felt pens, coloured pencils, crayons or paint Ice block sticks or pencils Sticky tape Scissors. Glue the picture sheets onto the cardboard and cut out each character (or use the copy on card). 2. Colour or paint each so they look like the characters in the story. 3. Glue on google eyes.. Tape an ice block stick or pencil to the back of the monster.. Use your monster and children characters to perform a puppet play of the story. Have fun! Follow the instructions below to make a funny mix and match group book. You will need: Prepared A sheet of paper (activity ) for each child (A). Coloured pencils, crayons or felt pens A. Scissors Stapler A cover for the front and back. book spine waist guides cut line. Draw a monster of your own on the A paper using the guide lines as shown (B). 2. Colour your monster. 3. Write your name and the name of your monster. You could use alliteration like the names in figure B. (Jenny s Jolly Jigglepot). Cut along the dotted line but not through the book spine line..
