Basic description Setting all parameters by PC software or SMS Adding as many as 16 wireless sensors (detectors) 8x wireless PIR detector, 4x door opening detector and 4x panic buttonn Calling or SMS sending or both activities to 16 phone numbers Possibility to describe each of 16 wireless detectors according to user needs (24 characters) If it is used PC software, you see a code of particular detector directly Possibility to change a password Setting customer name Setting SMS text about customer movement Setting SMS text about no customer movement Setting SMS text for departure Setting SMS text for arrival Setting Panic button SMS text Setting counter interval about customer movement (minutes) Setting counter interval about no customer movement (minutes) Setting counter interval about foor opening (minutes)/departure indication Setting control interval of sensors functionality (hours) Supply You supply GUARD SENIOR LISA with an adaptor. General Precautions: Switch off the power supply before making any connections including the power supply and data connections. Do not touch any live conductors or components, this could cause GUARD SENIOR LISA damage, especialy to its communication parts. Do not mechanicaly stress GUARD SENIOR LISA, because this can cause damage concerning components or solder joints. SIM card install Install or Remove SIM card only when the power supply is turned off! The SIM card must have no PIN! Recommended using a SIM lump-sum card to avoid not working due to lack of credit (Prepaid SIM can be used if you keep enough credit on it). Before putting SIM card into GUARD SENIOR LISA, you can put it in a mobile phone to erase all incoming and outgoing SMS and calls and cancel PIN. Open plastic box and turn PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and put SIM card into a SIM holder and then close and slide it back and screw plastic box. Senior Guard Programming methods GUARD SENIOR LISA requires some basic functions to be programmed, before it can be operated. There is two ways to program these basic functions, either by SMS or PC software. SMS programming allows the same operations like PC software. PC Software allows in order to all programming was altered quickly, and a copy of all the programming can also be saved to file. 2
PC software install Software is divided into clearly labled sections, this makes the programming simple and easy to follow. When GUARD SENIOR LISA is connected by USB cable to PC, you can download data from GUARD SENIOR LISA and save data to GUARD SENIOR LISA. Put all PC software including a driver to folder called GUARD SENIOR LISA. When you connect GUARD SENIOR LISA to PC USB, it is necessary to install a driver. How to do? Connect Senior Guard to PC USB by cable with miniusb. You will see a short message in the right down corner. See picture below. After that, clik on Computer mark (on the desktop or after click on mouse button and you will see as follows: 3 Start button ) by right

Click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer and you see as follows: By rolling you choose Mobile devices and you see as follows: 10
Then clik on Mobile devices and you see as follows: Then clik on Have Disk button and you see as follows: 11
Click on Browse button and pick lpc134x-vcom_64 driver from SEL-0003 file: Click on it to be blue and click on Open button. Then you see as follows:
Click on Next button and you see as follows: Click on Install this driver software anyway and you see as follows: 13
As soon as installation is over you will see as follows: When you go to Device Manager you see in Ports LPC134xxUSB VCom Port. In that case installation is successful. 14
After that, you can run GUARD SENIOR LISA PC software as follows: Running GUARD SENIOR LISA software Connect Senior Guard to PC USB with cable Run GUARD SENIOR LISA.exe program If any problem to run program, pull the cable out and after a 2-3 seconds connect it to PC USB port again. If still troubles, you can repeat it a few times. If problems remain, it would be necessary PC restart and try the same progress again. Supported WIN XP and higher version, Version Win 98 not supported. In the message window (bottom left) the result of requested action will be displayed. After running software, GUARD SENIOR LISA will automaticaly search the ports It will be displayed as port found and show the port number for example com 8. If Senior Guard port is not found it will be displayed as no port found. See the pictures below. Clicking on the question mark will start a new searching. It is possible to use this button even if the USB cable or power supply has been interrupted. The sofware has a port searching range of 1 256. If PC software can not find the port then check the settings of the virtual ports of the PC in the device manager (see upper) or pull cable out, wait for a few seconds and connect to PC USB again. Buttons download setting or save setting are used to read or store the settings to or from GUARD SENIOR LISA. If you want to download all setting, just click on the button called download all setting (right down corner) or if you want to store all setting, just click on save all setting. It will create a subdirectory automatically, so that you can save or download from files anywhere, including CD, DVD, flash disk and so on. There is automaticaly given a suffix of.cfg. GUARD SENIOR LISA PC software Basic screen description The name of this software sections, you will find on the top of software. If you want to take some function, it is always necessary to check given frame. See below. 15
There are three basic windows called: configuration, wireless and history. Window configuration has the other sections called firmware, basic setting and number setting. Basic = configuration window 16
Configuration window Firmware section You can read firmware version, IMEI or signal strenght, when you push appropriate button. When you click on PC button (time section), GUARD SENIOR LISA will download PC actual time. Clicking on save time button and you can store it to GUARD SENIOR LISA. Sometimes is necessary to repeat it. You have a possibility, too, to download a credit of your SIM card. Just click an arrow of mobile phone operators and choose mobile operator. The result will be displayed on message window (left down corner). Password To change the password (bottom line), you need to know the existing password. Be carefull not to forget the password or store it safely, without this password it is imposible to use this software. The factory password is 1234. If you want to change the password enter the new and confirmation item and then push the save password button. The password is four-figured, it is possible to use numbers and letters. Note: The program does not save or read the password during data transmission. If you forget the password it can only be reset by contacting the producer!!! Setting counter interval about customer movement (minutes) any time interval. If GUARD SENIOR LISA is activated by sensors within this period, it will send SMS with text included in Setting SMS text about customer movement item. Setting counter interval about no customer movement (minutes) - any time interval. If GUARD SENIOR LISA is not activated by sensors within this period, it will send SMS with text inlcuded in Setting SMS text about no customer movement item. Setting counter interval about door opening (minutes)/departure indication - any time interval. If GUARD SENIOR LISA activated by door sensor and if no movement within this period, it will send SMS with text Setting SMS text for departure item. Control interval of sensors functionality (hours) any interval, when GUARD SENIOR LISA sends message, when GUARD SENIOR LISA works properly. All setting must be saved by clicking on save setting button. If you want to download data, just click on download setting button. Number setting section Click on the item in the phone number list. The position will become highlighted in blue. Then put the phone number into enter numbers item. Phone number must not have prefix + or 00 for an international call. For example, not +420 777 523 982 (wrong), but only 420 777 523 982 (good), or you have enter phone number only, for instance 777 523 982. Move the phone number into the phone number list by clicking on an arrow. It is possible to save a maximum of 16 separated phone numbers. If you want to erase the phone number from the list, just click on it, and then click on the erase button. GUARD SENIOR LISA will work with the phone numbers included in this number list only, all other phone numbers will be ignored. It is possible to use unauthorized phone, but only with a valid password. If you finished setting, just click on save setting button. On the other hand, if you want to download the phone numbers, just click on download numbers button. Wireless window 18
PIR move section If you want to add any PIR move sensor. You can do it if switch PIR ON and OFF. PIR sends wireless signal, which will appear in code accepted item (down part of the window). Then you click on any wrl code item in the PIR move section to move. name - Maximum of 15 characters or numbers, any extra characters will be erased automatically. Wrl code just click on this item and wireless code from item called code accepted will be transfered into this item. Door opening section If you want to add any door opening sensor, just move magnet from door opening transmitter (bigger box). It lights and sends wireless signal, which will appear in code accepted item (dowm part of the window). Then you click on any wrl code item in the door opening section to move. name - Maximum of 15 characters or numbers, any extra characters will be erased automatically. Wrl code just click on this item and wireless code from item called code accepted will be transfered into this item. Panic button section If you add any panic button, just push the red button. It lights and sends wireless signal, which will appear in code accepted item (down part of the window). Then you click on any wrl code item in the panic button section ro move. name - Maximum of 15 characters or numbers, any extra characters will be erased automatically. Wrl code just click on this item and wireless code from item called code accepted will be transfered into this item. See picture above. History window 19
Just click on download history from central unit button to display history of last 200 events. If you want to delete history, just click on reset history button. You can save history to any file, just clicking save button under download/save of disc. If needed to download history from saved file, just click on download button under save/read of disc. SMS setting SMS texts You can setup all text via SMS. It will be put in the same item, like when is used PC software. SMS command for this is: *txt*text number*text# Example: *txt*2*movement indication during set interval# This SMS will setup text movement indication during set interval into item called sms text about customer movement. As you see, it is PC software second item. It is counted down from top. So that, it is necessary to use: 1 if you want to setup customer name 2 - if you want to setup sms text about customer movement 3 - if you want to setup sms text about no customer movement 4 - if you want to setup sms text for departure 5 - if you want to setup sms text for arrival 6 - if you want to setup panic button sms text Another example: *txt*5*back at home# It will setup the item called sms text for arrival with back at home text. It means, if customer leaves his (her) home, SMS will be sent with text back at home. SMS time interval All time interval you can setup in a single SMS. SMS command is: *cnt*counter interval about customer movement (min), counter interval about no customer movement (min), counter interval about door opening (min), counter interval of sensors functionality (hours)# Example: *cnt*240,480,10,36# It means, that: counter interval about customer movement = 240 minutes counter interval about no customer movement = 480 minutes counter interval about door opening = 10 minutes counter interval of sensors functionality = 36 hours 20
SMS phone setting *phn*list sequence*phone number# list sequence: figure adding or rewriting phone number in list into given position. You can choose 1 16 position. Example: *phn*3*608123456# SMS will add phone number 608123456 into position 3. If there is anothe phone number, it will be rewrited. If you want to add a phone number to any position, you use SMS command as follows: *phn*a*phone number# Example: *phn*a*608123456# SMS will add phone number 608123456 into first free position in the list. If you want to erase any phone number from a phone number list, you use SMS command as follows: *phn*e*phone number# Example: *phn*e*608123456# SMS will erase a phone number 608123456 from phone number list, if there is there If you want to setup all parameters with unathorized phone number (which it is not included in phone number list, you must add before SMS command as follows: *#*1234 Example: If you want to erase a phone number 608123456 from unauthorized phone number, you will enter SMS command as follows: *#*1234 *phn*e*608123456# Note: it does not matter, if sms text is written with a capital or small letters, firmware will transfer all letters to small ones. Do not use diacritical marks it can cause some mistakes. 21
How to add wireless sensors without PC software PIR sensors Just push a button on the plastic box and hold on for about 1 second. When you release it, the third LED will start to blink. It means, GUARD SENIOR LISA is prepared to learn PIR sensors. Activate PIR sensor Door opening sensors Just push a button on the plastic box and hold on for about 1 second. When you release it, do it once more, then twice. Third LED will start to blink 2x quickly. It means, GUARD SENIOR LISA is prepared to learn door opening sensors. Activate door opening sensor Panic button Just push a button on the plastic box and hold on for about 1 second. When you release it, do it once more, and then once more again, then three times. Third LED will start to blink 3x quickly. It means, GUARD SENIOR LISA is prepared to learn Panic button. Activate Panic button How it works: When you connect an adaptor to the GUARD SENIOR LISA, the first LED will start to shine red and in a moment will change to green. It means, GUARD SENIOR LISA was initialized. Second LED will start to blink red quickly and as soon as GSM network is found, it will blink a little slower with 2 3 second interval. If always blinks quickly, it means that GSM network was not found. If GUARD SENIOR LISA receives alarm signal from any sensors, third LED will blink green as follows: 1x if receives alarm from PIR sensor 2x if receives alarm from door opening sensor 3x if receives alarm from panic button GUARD SENIOR LISA will send SMS with text to preset phone number with preset text and after preset time interval.
