DIAGNOSTICS DTC B0126/27 SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (LH) MALFUNCTION 051287 05IVB01 CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION The seat belt buckle switch LH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat inner belt assy LH (seat belt buckle switch LH). DTC B0126/27 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the seat belt buckle switch LH circuit. 051288 DIAGNOSTICS INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1 CHECK DTC CG DLC3 TC DTC B0126/27 C85269 H10600 C85273 H41027 (a) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at (b) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 051215 ). (c) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. (d) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait for at (e) Check the DTCs (see page 051215 ). : DTC B0126/27 is not output. HINT: Codes other than code B0126/27 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check. Go to step 2 USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK 2 CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS (a) (b) (c) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. Disconnect the negative () terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat inner belt assy LH. : The connectors are connected. CONNECT CONNECTORS, THEN GO TO STEP 1 1478

DIAGNOSTICS 051289 3 CHECK FLOOR WIRE NO.2(OPEN) H43342 D Service Wire 1 B19 3 C B (*2) A H44468 (a) Disconnect the connectors from the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat inner belt assy LH. (b) Using a service wire, connect B191 and B193 of connector C. NOTICE: Do not forcibly insert a service wire into the terminal of the connector when connecting. (c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. w/ Curtain shield airbag : 19 () 2 (LBE) Below 1 Ω 11 () 6 (LBE) Below 1 Ω 4 CHECK FLOOR WIRE NO.2(TO B+) LBE LBE LBE LBE (*2) (a) Disconnect the service wire from connector C. (b) Connect the negative () terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds. (c) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. (d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. w/ Curtain shield airbag : 19 () 2 (LBE) 11 () 6 (LBE) 1479

(b) Disconnect the negative () terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds. (b) Connect the negative () terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds. (c) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at (d) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 051215 ). (e) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. (f) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at (g) Check the DTCs (see page 051215 ). : DTC B0126/27 is not output. HINT: Codes other than code B0126/27 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check. Go to step 8 USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK 1481

051292 DIAGNOSTICS 8 REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH (a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. (b) Disconnect the negative () terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds. (c) Replace the front seat inner belt assy LH (see page 721 1, 7219 ). 9 CHECK AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER CG DLC3 TC DTC B0126/27 C85269 H10600 C85273 H41027 (a) Connect the negative () terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds. (b) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at (c) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 051215 ). (d) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. (e) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at (f) Check the DTCs (see page 051215 ). : DTC B0126/27 is not output.
