Registering RealPresence Mobile to the OUHSC Gatekeeper
OUHSC Email 1. Type in your OUHSC email address in the Email: field. 2. Select Next. Note: The Register with Polycom does not need to be checked.

Keypad 1. Used to dial the number (IP or E.164) of the site you would like to video conference with. Recent Calls 2. Displays the call history (incoming calls/outgoing calls) and provides a way to add the call to your Contacts or clear the Recent Calls list.
Contacts 3. Displays an A to Z contact list that can be populated. Directory 4. Displays all OUHSC gatekeeper registered devices.
5. Used to pair your PC with a Polycom HDX or RealPresence Group Series system and use RealPresence Desktop as its remote control. Then you can use the paired Polycom HDX or RealPresence Group Series system, for example, to place a call, to adjust the call volume, or to end the call, using the RPD application. SmartPairing Note: Please see Step 8 below to enable SmartPairing. 6. Select WLAN. This displays the unique E.164 of the Polycom RPD Mobile software. The 6-digit number will begin with 551***, which identifies a Polycom RPD Mobile device. Software E164, begins with 551***
7. Select Content Preview. This previews various ways to download or display the content used during the video conference. The options are Local Documents, Photos, Website, Dropbox, Whiteboard and Blackboard. Content Preview 8. Select Settings. This displays the Settings page. It allows you to change the call rate. Managing Calls
Manage Calls You can simply use the RealPresence Mobile application to make, answer, reject, or end calls. To place a call by entering a number: 1. Choose one of the following: On the dialpad, select the numbers to enter the contact number to call. Using your keyboard, enter the number. You can use any of the following formats: 10.11.12.13: IP address E.164 extension for H.323 Polycom: <VBP WAN IP address>##<e.164> (i.e. 10.11.12.13##1234) Tandberg: <E.164>@<VBP WAN IP address> (i.e. 1234@10.11.12.13) 2. Select to start the call.
To place a call from the OUHSC directory: 1. Select. 2. Enter the name or part of the name that you want to call, and then select Enter. 3. Select the contact name from the search list. 4. Select adjacent to the H.323 extension for the contact. 5. Select to initiate call. To answer a Call» Select Answer. Use the In-call ToolBar During a call, you will see the in-call toolbar on the bottom of the screen. Use the in-call toolbar to access additional features of the RealPresence Mobile application, for example, to switch cameras or mute your audio.

View Recent Calls The RealPresence Desktop application stores details about the most recent calls placed and received. To view information about recent calls: 1. Select. 2. Select the call that you want to review. Change the Video Layout You can change the video layout in a call hosted by the Polycom RMX system (bridge). To change the video layout: 1. Connect to a bridge meeting room. 2. Select. 3. To display the layout options, push the asterisk (*) two times. 4. Select the number that corresponds to the layout that you want to use. 5. To return to the call, select.
Manage Contacts The RealPresence Mobile application enables you to access contacts from two sources. The application manages a local directory that is available in both standalone and managed modes. When deployed in managed mode (registered w/ Gatekeeper), the application enables you to access and search the OUHSC directory that is hosted by the administrator. To add a new contact manually to your local address book: 1. Select, and then select. 2. Enter the contact s Display Name. 3. (Optional) Enter identifying information about the contact: Display Name Title Phone Email Location
4. Enter the Device Name. 5. Complete at least one of the following fields: H.323 Extension Number that gatekeepers use to identify this system.
