"Interests" "Referees" Place the most recent activities first The names and contact details of two referees are sometimes added The traditional CV is criticized Does too little to "sell" your qualities Too factual Not tailored to the job needs Chronological CV Focus on what you have done in your studies or working life. Based on headings, such as: "Personal" "Experience" "Qualifications and training" "Interests" "Referees" These list what you have done factually The "Experience" section is central. It does not listing your jobs or positions but starts with the most recent activities. The "Experience" section is tailored to each job you apply for Drawback with the chronological CV is gap years. Any empty periods in your record are very evident. The rest of the CV is similar to the traditional one.
