Marketing Manager Qualification : Master of Business Administration (M.B.A. Marketing) Experience : Experience in designing, Animation, Photoshop etc will be preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing field. Experience in Hospitality industry, entrepreneurship development, SHGs etc will be preferred Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month 2. Ecotourism Officer Qualification: Experience: Master of Tourism Administration (MTA) or MBA with experience in tourism management. Experience in tourism management and knowledge in developing/ managing ecotourism packages/activities. Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge in ecotourism in forest areas and Participatory Forest Management. Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month 3. Ecologist Qualification: Experience: Masters Degree in Environmental/Wildlife Sciences or Forestry (Preference will be given to Ph. D. holders) Minimum 3 years of field experience in the field of Ecology preferably in the landscapes where Participatory Forest Management is implemented. Terms of Reference MARKETING MANAGER Over brand marketing of PTR, CBET, Ecoshop products, Outreach marketing activities, networking with Travel & Tour Industry, developing innovative marketing tools and materials. Publicity and marketing of all CBET programmes in PTR under the supervision of Deputy Director(PT), East & West Division and Secretary, Periyar Tiger Conservation Foundation. Marketing of various value added products like Honey, Organic Pepper, Coffee etc. Manage and Co-ordinate the exporting of Organic Pepper and Coffee from the Tribal Settlements. Carry out feasibility studies, asses market and financial sustainability. Prepare periodic reports as required by the management. To develop project proposal related with marketing. Develop strategy for Marketing Sabarijalam Drinking Project Coordination and marketing of Souvenirs of PTR Organize Workshops, Seminars related with marketing of various products of PTR Assist the Economist to assess Socio-economic changes in the market Any other duty assigned by the Executive Director / Secretary, Periyar Tiger Conservation Foundation.
ECOTOURISM OFFICER Terms of Reference Manage and coordinate all ecotourism activities in PTR under the supervision of Deputy Director, Periyar East Division and Secretary, Periyar Foundation. Prepare protection-oriented, ecologically sustainable, socially acceptable and economically viable ecotourism products and extend technical support in their implementation. Conduct periodic review of ecotourism schemes for streamlining and improving the ecotourism products. Market ecotourism products implemented in PTR. Train the professional group EDC members in sustainably conducting ecotourism programmes. Carry out feasibility studies, assess market and financial sustainability. Prepare periodic reports as required by the management. Monitor the activities of ecotourism programmes, financial transactions from ecotourism programmes, accounting, etc. Work in liaise with the Nature Education Officer. Maintain the ecotourism spots / tracks free of litter and ensure least ecological impact / disturbance. Develop innovative programmes to tap the ecotourism opportunities of Sabarimala Pilgrimage so as to benefit the depended communities. Get the proposals financially vetted by the Economist. Collate data, prepare reports and give technical support to the Protected Area Management. Any other duty assigned by the Executive Director / Secretary, Periyar Tiger Conservation Foundation.
ECOLOGIST Terms of Reference To undertake analysis, assessment and research on Ecology and Wildlife Biology. To distil, document and support to disseminate the best practices in the Project Area. To assist in conducting trainings in habitat management practices, monitoring of habitats and wildlife, eco-friendly tourism, to NGOs, local community groups, other stakeholders, policy makers, senior and midlevel forest officers and field staff and other development sector agencies. To develop field guides /identification keys on important groups of flora and fauna. To conduct impact assessment of habitat interventions, ecotourism etc. To contribute as a team in curriculum development and preparation of course material. Any other duty assigned by the Executive Director / Secretary, Periyar Tiger Conservation Foundation.
