May 9, 2016 Re: Providence Day School Bus Service for 2016-2017 School Year Dear Parents: Providence Day School s transportation program wants to thank you for completing another successful year! We are now making plans for next year, and whether you are a returning parent or new to our school, we invite you to avoid the car pool line and have your children ride the bus! The following information is enclosed for your review: Bus schedule for the coming school year. Registration form/contract for riding the bus. Also enclosed is a copy of our Bus Conduct, Bus Safety Rules, and Responsibilities of Students on Buses. Please review this document with your children before returning signed copies with your registration. Students must understand that while they are at the pick-up/drop-off point and while they are on the bus, they are at school. All the rules as listed in the PDS Student-Parent Handbook apply on the bus. Seats are available on all routes on a first-come/first-served basis and we encourage you to reserve your seat now. Also, please feel free to tell your PDS neighbors about this program. The more students that participate in the program, the better our bus system can be for everyone and the lower our fares can be in future years. If you have any questions please contact: Tom Beggs, Director of Facilities, Phone (704) 887-6024 e-mail: tom.beggs@providenceday.org We encourage you to make use of Providence Day School s transportation system, and we are looking forward to having your children on the bus this coming year! Sincerely, Todd Swartz Assistant Head of School for Strategic Planning & Human Resources
