Architectural Led Modular Lighting System (constant current) Tronix presents the Architectural LED Modular Lighting System designed for: Homes Shops Hospitality Utility Construction The strength of the Architectural LED Modular Lighting System is based on: Simplicity Dimmability Versatility in Application Uniformity Energy-Saving Affordibility The Universal LED Module: heart of this system Core of the system is the Tronix Universal Module, available in a standard version of 2,5 or 7,5 Watt version, or one with a high power COB Led in 3,3 or 6,5 Watt. All modules fit any armature formerly used for 50mm halogen spots. See P8/9 for the complete range of matching Tronix Platework for all modules. Fitting both new and existing systems A great feature of the Tronix Universal module is that it not only fits the Tronix plate system, but just any armature formerly used for a 50mm halogen GU10 or MR16 spot. Colors The Architectural Led Modular Lighting System is available in the three different white shades 2700K, 3000K and 6500K, as well as in the colors blue, green, red and amber. Light beam Most modules are standardly equipped with a 40 lens, but can generally be easily replaced with a 15, 25 or 60 lens. High Power Led For the Architectural Modular Lighting system, Tronix works with the world s best brands of High Power Led s like e.g. CREE, Sharp and Bridgelux. Working life The manufacturer guarantees a working life of 50,000 burning hours, retaining 70% of the original light yield when professionally installed and with adequate cooling. Plug & Play The module is equipped with a 1-meter cable with plug which can simply be attached to the LED driver through a 2-, 4- or 6-way divider. Dimmability When dimming you can choose out of two systems: 1-10 Volt dimming system, recommended with new installations and domo technica. Primary dimming system (halogen dimmers), recommended when renovating existing installations. In both cases you need a LED driver with dimming possibilities. Plug TRONIX & Play Single Spot Een juweeltje... Connectors Work and Material saving The Tronix modular system is ready to plug in which saves a huge amount of time in assembly. The low energy consumption of the wiring also results in major savings, as only very little current runs through the wires. Thick wiring is therefore unnecessary. IMPORTANT! The modules must always be switched in series. When these connectors are used, this is done automatically. Lightbeam Tronix modules are standardly equipped with a 40 lens. Unique feature of the Universal module, Down Light module and Single Spot is that the lens is replaceable with one of your own choice. Van halogeen naar LED in een handomdraai Ways of Dimming The Tronix Architectural Modular Lighting System offers different dimming possibilities; we here present the 3 most popular methods: 230 Volt Primary dimming This is the most popular way of dimming, often used when replacing traditional 50mm halogen lamps or at small projects. This way of dimming takes place at the primary (230V) side and is based on triac dimming. For this way of dimming we recommend our Tronix LED driver art. 215-131, but you can also use most LED dimmers of other brands like Gira, Berker, etc. 1-10V Dimming This way of dimming is most effective because it uses a separate dimming signal. 1-10V dimming is usually applied for new projects where it is easy to offer an extra signal cable for 1-10V (next to a 230V system). LED s change From Halogen to LED in a twist Renovation When replacing Halogen GU10 spots with Universal LED modules In case of a 12 Volt system you can simply take away the existing power supplies and connect the 230V to the wiring that goes to the spots. The new dimmable Tronix LED Driver (art. 215-148) works perfectly on your existing halogen dimmers. This makes a switch from GU10 (230V) halogen spots to LED very easy. Below you will find the installations instructions step by step. In case of a 12V installation you can simply take away the old power supplies and connect the 230V directly to the LED spots wiring. 230 Volt From halogen to LED in a twist 215-148 Step 1 Remove the halogen spot from the connector block. Step 2 Mount the LED driver (art. 215-148) to the connector block. Step 3 Connect the driver plug to the plug of the LED module. Step 4 Place the driver back into the hole.
