Understandthevariedtheoriesofaddiction,includinghistoricalconceptsasrelatedtocurrentthinkingandtheories. 3. Integrateconceptsandtheoriesrelatedtoaddictionsintotherolesandresponsibilitiesofprofessionalcounselors. 5. Explainanddefinetherelationshipbetweenaddictivebehavior,addictions,andmentalandemotionaldisordersand functioning.
