2 The YoungTicketPLUS The YoungTicketPLUS is only available by subscription. Who can have it apprentices, trainees and students at academies and institutions of higher education (unless a semester ticket is used) Who is allowed to travel The ticket holder (personal ticket, with a photo ID) What, where and when as many trips as you like in the selected validity area round-the-clock Bicycle transport All-day carry-on of a bicycle for the ticket holder in the applicable area (see carry-on note, p. 6) NEW Monday to Friday after 7 p.m., all day at the weekends, on public holidays as well as on 24 December and 31 December: Bonus K Valid network-wide K take along one additional person in the respective validity area Mobility guarantee Cost refund in the case of delay K up to 25 between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. K up to 50 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Special features For those who do not want to buy a monthly subscription the YoungTicket is available as a monthly ticket. Journey planner and ticketshop in one App Do you use an iphone or an Android smartphone? Then you can now download the free VRR app onto your phone for timetable information and ticket purchasing. You will have access to both up-to-date information and notices on any service disruptions. The free VRR app is functional immediately after being downloaded. The VRR app recognises your current location through the GPS tracking in your smartphone and shows the stops and the lines operating in the area. The app memorises information which has previously been input and offers sensible orientation guidance using the map provided. You can also buy your ticket directly from the VRR app right away. As a pre-registered HandyTicket customer, you can receive timetable information directly in your transport company s HandyTicket shop. If you are not yet registered there, you can simply install the free app and register for the HandyTicket shop.

Bicycle transport In general, the transport company will gladly transport your bicycle as well. However, in the interests of all passengers, this may depend on the time of day, the volume of passengers and the space available. Please familiarise yourself in advance with the applicable carryon regulations of your transport company.
7 In the case of delay: The Mobility Guarantee Disruption to operations, vehicle and equipment malfunctions, traffic congestion, illegal parking and similar incidents can lead to delays to buses, trains and trams. Nevertheless, we guarantee your mobility. Our mobility guarantee enables you to take a taxi or train for which a surcharge has to be paid (IC/EC or ICE) to your destination. We will refund the additional costs of up to 25 between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. or 50 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. if the means of transport chosen by you leaves your stop more than 20 minutes later than originally shown on the timetable and there is no obvious alternative bus or rail route to your destination. The mobility guarantee does not apply to delays resulting from strikes, bad weather, forces of nature or bomb threats. You only need to submit an application for reimbursement of the costs. The corresponding form is available from your transport company or on the Internet. How to get your personal YoungTicketPLUS Have we aroused your curiosity? Then simply tear off and complete the attached subscription application and send it by post to your transport company (addresses are available at www.vrr.de) or hand it in directly to your local customer service centre. When you purchase the YoungTicketPLUS for the first time we need written confirmation from the school or your training contract, as well as a stamp from your school or training centre on the completed YoungTicketPLUS order form.
