This compact and easy-to-use product features a wide variety of time and weather data, such as precise atomic time,

perpetual calendar, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, rainfall, UV levels and more. This guide is intended to assist in the setup and function of the software interface for the Honeywell Weather Stations and your home computer. Weather capture software is intended to help you get the most from your weather station. It provides features to assist you in down loading and displaying real time data and history from your weather station. Graphically compare weather by the hour, day or month and add use your PC to capture weather data images for your web page, email notifications or analysis report. To best use this guide: Install batteries in all sensors prior to power up of main station, keeping sensors at hand for quick access and setup testing. Please follow weather station setup and operation manual prior to connection to computer interface. Install batteries and plug in AC Adaptor to both wall socket and to main weather station. Allow all sensors to establish communication with main unit. A numeric value (0.0 or other value) will be present when communication is established. See screen image below (Figure 1). NOTE: When sensor windows have dashes (---) in place of a numeric value, this indicates no communication with that device. This condition is show in the Temperature and Humidity window panes (pg 2). Please see weather station setup manual for initial system startup including the forcing of communication with the base station. Install the software on your computer following the instructions indicated after the CD is installed in the CD drive. Weather Capture Main Screen: Overview

(Figure 1) Menu screen structure and navigation The menu bar for parameter selection can be seen in the display above (Figure 1), located in the upper left corner. When the File menu is selected you can choose either Exit, Clear All Records and Exti, or Clear Rain Total. (Figure 2) The Clear All Records and Exit function, removes all memories of prior weather logging, including Rain, Wind, UV, Pressure History and any other recorded data. The Clear Rain Total function, clear the total record of rain only. Time / Date and Almanac information are not affected. (Figure 2) Menu screen structure and navigation: Display Menu

(Figure 3) The Display Menu allows you to Set Default Layout arranges the Windows (Temp, Humidity, Rain, etc.) according to the factory settings, while Set Previous Runtime Layout arranges the screen according to your custom arrangement (Figure 3). (Figure 4) Choose the arrangement of window panes in the order of your preference, or use the default Layout setting. Menu screen structure and navigation: Settings Menu

The Settings Menu contain the bulk of user definable parameters (Figure 5) (Figure 5) (Figure 6) Help can be used at any time to find additional information regarding available subjects with in this tool (Figure 6). Alarm Settings for High and Low Temperature, Rain volume, Wind speed, and Gust Speed can be set with in the input boxes as shown above (Figure 6). Alarm Settings (Alt+A) (Figure 7) Alarms are enabled by toggling the ON / OFF switches on the right of the pane by selecting the arrow and then highlighting the desired status for the specific alarm. Menu screen structure and navigation: User Settings User Settings (Alt+S)

(Figure 8) The Display Data From information can be displayed as a value of hours, days, weeks, and months. Select your Location, (we have selected Portland, Ore. as our office site) and the window will automatically close after updating Longitude and Latitude information. If you wish to choose a different location, just open the Location menu again and make a new selection. A User Defined option is available at the bottom of the Location list. Latitude and Longitude information can be manually input for your exact location if desired. Menu screen structure and navigation: GMT and Units Selection GMT(±) indicates your specific time zone relative to Greenwich Mean Time (0:00 time). For time zones in the USA, and other information regarding GMT, please use the following link: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/. (You must be online to use this link)

Set Units For Display allows the user to define how the information is displayed. As seen in (Figure 8) the selections for each monitored function can be formatted as follows: (Figure 8a) (Figure 8b) (Figure 8c) (Figure 8d) (Figure 8e) (Figure 8f) Select the Units of Measure with which you are most familiar and comfortable. If you have questions regarding any of the technical significance for these parameters, an Internet search should answer your questions. Menu screen structure and navigation: Download Settings Download Settings (Alt+D) (Figure 9) When determining the Record Interval consider the duration of time for each data point. If 5

minutes is selected, a point will be placed on the graph with each 5 minute interval. If 3 hours are selected, the time to indicate a trend on your graph is likely to take at least 24 hours showing only 8 data points in the span of one complete day. The graphical log can be viewed when a window pane is Opened using the button in the upper left corner of that specific metric. I.e. Temperature, Humidity, etc. (Figure 10) As seen in the graph above, the trend of wind speed and wind chill can be followed as well as the date and time stamp of the interval. Pie charts show the percentage of time at those recorded values. NOTE: Date format currently presented with day then month. Menu screen structure and navigation: Language The final option in the Settings menu is the Language selection feature. Select your language of choice and the screen will immediately adopt your selected language. If for any reason you select a language which you did not intend, the SETTINGS menu is the 3 rd from the left, LANGUAGE is the last option, and ENGLISH is the top selection in all other language modes. Language

(Figure 11) Please be aware that certain language selections will cause the display of the window panes to extend off the screen. If this occurs, the panes can be rearranged to suit your monitor or laptop. See (Figure 4) Place the cursor at the top section of the Window Pane you wish to move, hold down the left mouse or touch pad button and drag to the new location. Menu screen structure and navigation: Time and Date Time and Date (Figure 12) The information captured on this screen (Figure12) occurs during the initial startup of the program if the previous record was erased and is updated according to the download option set on the Settings Menu. When exiting, there are 2 options for closing the program. The Exit Program option and the Clear All Records and Exit option

(Figure 13a) (Figure 13b) Almanac (Figure 14) Neither the Date and Time nor the Almanac panes accept manual input. Menu screen structure and navigation: Temp. Humidity Etc. Temperature Humidity (Figure 15)

(Figure 16) (Figure 17a) (Figure 17b) (Figure 17c) Menu screen structure and navigation: Rain Rain (Figure 18)

During your initial set up of the user defined parameters, you will notice your selections update as you make the changes.
