L&W HIGH PRESSURE BREATHING AIR COMPRESSORS Pure breathing air is the most important thing one needs at a diving base or a life rescue station. The machines of L&W have a high capacity, are reliable, reasonably priced and easy to operate. Their workshop has the most modern machines available to produce compressors well known for their quality and reliability. Model LW300/450E, the high capacity of 450 l/min is reached by using large pistons (not high speed). The reliability is the result of a simple design (3pistons only) and low revolutions (990 rpm) keep wear and tear to a minimum, using only high class materials and pressure lubrication for the last piston. Reasonably priced does not mean less quality! Model LW300/450 D, this sturdy 3 stage compressor is equiped with a diesel drivefor the use on boats and remote dive bases with insufficient electrical supply. The watercooled 2 cylinder diesel engine, built by the well known manufacturer Farymann, is a quiet running, dependable and robust designed unit.

Remote control can be integrated into the electrical circuit, automatic supervision of the filterunits can be installed, stages of compression are supervised, running hours are registered and this unit has a high quality plastic coating against corrosion. L&W NITROX MIXMASTER LW Mixmaster LP Nitrox generating unit to be used in combination with a low pressure compressor. The Mixmaster produces nitrox mixtures of between 28 and 40% oxygen with a delivery rate of up to 800 liters per minute (dependent on the lp compressor capacity and the inlet pressure). MIXMASTER HP Available in 2 versions, large and small. The Mixmaster HP panels have an HP breathing air inlet with isolation valve and pressure reducer that safely reduces the HP supply down to the desired LP inlet pressure. The Mixmaster HP panels have a large capacity active charcoal filter to ensure no oil enters the membrane. The HP solution has the advantage of using pure breathing air to feed the membrane, this reduces the risk of membrane contamination. The investment cost are lower than a LP solution, but the running costs are higher. 2 HP compressors offer the ideal solution with redundancy for professional diving centres. If only 1 HP compressor is available then a higher capacity storage will be necessary.
