Remote Infrastructure Security: A large part of telecom, utility and other infrastructure sites are located in remote and desolate locations, without human supervision and / or guarding. At the same time, the remote facility is oftentimes critical to operation and for providing service and the result of theft / vandalism will follow downtime and cause heavy direct loses and indirect damages to the operator. However, the rising market price of consumables and raw materials makes the prospect of trespassing and stealing critical materials from the sites more and more lucrative. Current solutions padlocks, basic sensors and private security companies: Most infrastructure sites are equipped with a barbwire fence, basic sensors, a large padlock and a basic alarm system. This raises several problems: Availability of the private security company is not guaranteed and not always efficient, sometimes the NOC is not aware of the trespassing and of the handling by the security company. In addition, there had been cases where local companies personnel have been known to collaborate with burglars. Another problem is that the NOC manager is sometimes not aware of theft of critical / supporting infrastructure (such as fuel), and therefore delays in taking immediate action which would prevent further damage. The great distances make it difficult, and almost impossible to react to events of theft/vandalism in an appropriate manner, with the existing solutions. Remote Site Security Solution from AIO: AIO remote managemet solution enables the implementation of a wide array of passive and active security elements which enhance / replace existing alarm systems, and provide improved results in defending critical assets, and lowering the annual cost of lost equipment/ consumebles. The AIO security consists of two security arrays external and internal, which interlock for a two tier defense system, combining physical and logical alerts. The external array consists of physical sensors, such as perimeter beam detectors, infra-red motion detectors, external video surveillance, active smoke, siren, rotating emergency lights, intercom which allows real time conversation with the NOC and many more. The internal array consists of access rights, allocated to various users in the operations sphere, with local and remote entry rights management to the site perimeter and to the equipment / generator shelters. Logical alerts are triggered by crossing logical alerts, such as fuel drops or disappearance of an RFID tag from the range of the reader, with physical alerts, such as site access, door/lock opening, sensor crossing, and spring sensor triggering on moving of equipment. Finally AIO's security enables active modules to be integrated into the security system, as an additional tier of deterring theft/vandalism, such as automated pepper spray dispenser, mildly shocking fence, or voice comm from the NOC directly to the sites loudspeakers. The combination of the two security arrays, triggering automatically and surprising potential thieves, in addition to notification to the nearest police / security unit, enables to delay thieves / vandalists until security team arrives on site.
