Location Cluj-Napoca is situated in the heart of Transylvania, and is the 4th biggest city in the country it is one of the biggest orienteering centers in Romania, with four O- clubs and a further orienteering association the city is one of the most important academic, cultural, industrial and business centers in Romania 6

Accommodation EYOC 2015 Cluj-Napoca Romania type A: - in 2 star hotel close to the Event Center; with TV, internet access, freezer, bathroom type B: - in student dormitories, 2-4 beds/room, with internet access - common bathroom for two or more rooms - the building was renovated recently - meals will be served in a restaurant (canteen) near the dormitories 8
Terrain and timing EYOC 2015 Cluj-Napoca Romania Date: last weekend of June or first weekend of July Terrains: sprint in the neighborhood of E.C. Long and relay in max 20km distances from E.C. Training possibilities: the forests begins just near the city. More than 30 maps in the area ~ 97 square km. For more details see the pictures 9
Training possibilities : the forests begins just near the city more than 30 maps 97 square km of O-maps we organize yearly 3 major competitions (May, July with WRE, October) we intend to organize yearly 2 training camps in addition to these competitions on request we can organize any time other individual or group training camps 10
Social & recreational program in the city: - we intend to print a brochure with the social, cultural and sport events taking place during the EYOC 2015 - we as well intend to print a city map showing all places of interest (museums, theaters, cinemas, clubs, historical buildings, botanical garden, etc.) - we plan to organize city tours outside the city: - excursions to Cheile Turzii Natural Park, Padis Natural Park, Turda Salt Mine, Medieval Castles (Dracula Castle, Sighisoara) 11
Media and publicity we already have agreements with local and regional televisions, radio and written media we shall make publicity and attract sponsors in the usual way we intend to increase the interest in the sport of orienteering among the youth in the preparation period and during the EYOC (O-events at school, recruitment of volunteers from schools and highschools) 12
