All the operations shown as follows must be done with the injector rail NOT installed on the vehicle For any further information please contact our after-sales service 2
The Injectors Rail is high-tech device built with high precision components and in normal conditions/use does not need any maintenance. Nevertheless particular working conditions (like dirty or contaminated fuel, dirty filter or even absence of a filter) may require some maintenance, made by trained personnel. We underline in particular the importance of a very clean working station, in order to avoid small parts to enter the Rail (this may cause defects). It is highly forbidden to use chemical products or solvent to clean the internal parts of the Rail. How to disassemble the injector rail Injector rail pic.1 Unscrew the connection of the gas temperature sensor pic.2 3
Unscrew the gas inlet connection pic.3 Unscrew the 4 nuts which fix the coils on the top of the injector rail pic.4 Extract the 4 coils from their house pic.5 4
1 fig.6 Unscrew the 4 group, completed with valve central unit and spring Attention: The 4 gas outlet nozzles Before starting cleaning the components, it is primarily necessary to clean the internal and the ducts of the rails and, by compressed air, remove any oily sediment or foreign bodies. Carefully clean the parts by using absorbing and non-abrasive materials and afterwards by compressed air. fig.7 The injectors group disassembling procedure is ended How to re-assemble the injector rails Replace the seal O-ring in the valve holder. fig.8 5
Use new moving electromagnetic units and check that the seal pad is not damaged. fig.9 2 Check that the new O-ring (see n 2) is correctly placed in its slot on the rear part of the moving electromagnetic unit. fig.10 5 4 3 Mounting sequence: 3) Moving electromagnetic unit 4) Spring 5) Valve holder fig.11 6
Insert the spring in its housing in the moving electromagnetic holder, then put the moving electromagnetic unit in the valve holder and check that the spring cannot slip out of its housing. fig.12 Insert the valve holder, together with the moving electromagnetic unit and the spring, into its housing on the rail body. The same sequences, as from pictures 8 to 13, have to be repeated for every single injector. fig.13 Screw the four valve holders. Tightening 15±0,2 Nm Please note: It is extremely important to take care of tightening, in order to correctly keep the right and proper distance between the valve and the housing. fig.14 7
Insert the four coils on the valve holders. fig.15 Screw the four group coils fixing units. Tightening 2±0,2 Nm fig.16 Replace the O-ring in the gas temperature connection. fig.17 8
Screw the gas temperature connection in its housing. Tightening 15±0,2 Nm fig.18 Replace the O-ring in the gas inlet connection. fig.19 Screw the gas inlet connection in its housing. Tightening 15±0,2 Nm fig.20 9
The injectors goup is now ready to be installed in the vehicle. fig.21 The rail re-assembling procedure is ended. As soon as the vehicle is turned to gas, carefully check that no gas leaks and/or misfunctioning occur.
