The new design of the header casing enables the Vitosol 200-T to blend harmoniously into the overall appearance of the roof. Effective use of the sun's heat The Sol-titanium coated absorbers collect a vast amount of solar energy and thereby ensure high efficiency.the vacuum in the tubes guarantees very effective thermal insulation. First class high performance vacuum tube collector Simple installation and maintenance VITOSOL 300-T The Vitosol 300-T high performance vacuum tube collector operates according to the proven heat pipe principle. It consequently offers particularly high operational reliability. One of the specific applications of the Vitosol 300-T is in systems with long phases of high solar irradiation without heat transfer, so-called "stagnation phases". The dry connection of the heat pipe tubes inside the header and the integral temperature limiter ensure particularly high operational reliability. Heat pipe principle for high operational reliability In heat pipe systems, the solar medium does not flow directly through the collector tubes. Instead, a process medium circulates in the copper pipe below the absorber and evaporates when subjected to solar irradiation, transferring the heat to the heat transfer medium via a heat exchanger. Duotec: Twice the benefit The collectors are rapidly interconnected through the reliable stainless steel corrugated pipe plug-in connectors on installation. The individual tubes can be precisely aligned with the sun by axial rotation. The tubes are connected in a dry state, i.e. without direct contact between the process and the heating transfer medium, thus ensuring a perfect tube connection. It is also possible, for example, to replace individual tubes when the system is already filled. Protection against overheating The temperature limiter integrated into the Vitosol 300-T protects the system against overheating during longer idle periods. The cylinder is protected against corrosion by Ceraprotect enamel coating and an additional cathode (magnesium or impressed current anode). The pump assembly, pipework, filling valve, solar control unit, two cylinder thermometers and an air separator are assembled in a single casing that is fitted to the DHW cylinder. Systems technology Vitosolic: Intelligent energy management Solar heat is especially effective when Vitosol solar collectors are used in conjunction with the Vitosolic energy management. The Vitosolic solar control units cover all conventional applications and can control up to four separate consumers. Data is exchanged via the KM BUS with the weathercompensated Vitotronic control unit. The Vitosolic ensures that heat "harvested" from the solar collectors is utilised as effectively as possible for either heating DHW or swimming pool water or for central heating backup. The Vitosolic communicates with the boiler circuit control and switches off the boiler as soon as sufficient solar heat is available. This relieves the boiler and reduces heating costs.
