This course has been compiled and developed in order to follow on from the Usui Reiki Level One teachings. The Reiki training of today differs somewhat to that of our predecessors, never the less, we must still honour, respect and give thanks to those who have made it what it is today. REIKI DIPLOMA LEVEL 2 COURSE SYLLABUS Aim of course Course objectives Entry level Students will have the ability to send absent healing to anyone anywhere in the world, including situations past, present and future. Students will learn how to use the sacred Usui Reiki Symbols, in order to utilize the healing energies of Reiki 2 nd degree, to its fullest, most honorable potential. PRACTICAL EXAMINATION Consisting of two separate assessments: part 1 Student practical demonstration and procedure of absent healing technique Oral Questioning NB: Candidates will be assessed individually by the examiner. RECAP OF REIKI 1 ST DEGREE Explain in full their own understanding of Reiki 1 st degree To include: * History of Reiki * The dynamics of Reiki 1, including their own experiences to date METHODS OF PROTECTION Understand the importance of self protection Name various methods / uses of protection* e.g.- Cloak of Light Auric Egg Crystal Pyramid Grounding Techniques *NB: Tutor s own preferred methods the above are examples only THE DYNAMICS OF REIKI 2 ND DEGREE Understand the concepts / uses of R2 To include: * Mental focusing / Beaming * Food, Friends, House, Animals, Car, Work, Electrical Appliances, Correspondence, Garden, The Third Eye, Health Issues, Crystals & Remedies, Addictions, To Change Past Events & Past Life Recall * The relevance of using Reiki as a tool to accompany other areas such as Stress Management and Counseling techniques * Importance of good intention working for the good of all Understand the various possible contra-actions, resulting from the Reiki treatment and/or attunement METAPHYSICAL IMBALANCES Understand & Acknowledge the metaphysical aspects of presenting Dis-ease states CIBTAC 5 E31
THE HUI YIN (Western Philosophy) Understand the concept of how energy (Ki) flows through the body To include: * The Central Channel * Conception & Governing Vessels (channels) Explain how to contract the Hui Yin point, in order to increase the amount of energy channeled THE REIKI SYMBOLS Name and draw each symbol Explain their meanings and suggest various methods of use Have an understanding of their origin / culture ABSENT HEALING Name & Describe various methods / techniques used* e.g. - GOLDEN BALL Give professional client aftercare / advice - COLUMN OF LIGHT - SURROGATE / - SUBSTITUTE Understand the importance of client acceptance and approval of absent healing, prior to sending *NB: Tutors own preferred method of input MEDITATION Understand the basic principles of meditation To include: * The various states of brainwave activity * Methods of meditation / visualization techniques* * How meditation can be of benefit to everyday stress / tension NB: *Schools own preferred method of input AURA SCANNING Understand the structure of the Aura Explain the purpose of scanning and when this might be done Describe how this technique is performed CIBTAC 6 E31
CASE STUDIES Each candidate will submit written evidence in support of Task 1 and Task 2 only. Task 3, however, will require written testimony from the tutor (Assessment Feedback Sheet). Recommended treatment/study time: Task 1 Up to 1 Hour per session (including treatment plan and evaluation) x 2 clients, minimum of 3 sessions each = 6 Hours Task 2 1 Hour in total (consisting of candidate witness testimony/ evaluation) Task 3 The actual treatment time for this exercise, takes only minutes to perform. The main focus here is on programming of absent healing. It is the responsibility of the candidate to collate all relevant information prior to the healing. Requirements overleaf. All paper work relating to Case Studies, will have been previously marked by the school/college (according to CIBTAC guidelines), and presented to the examiner for inspection, e.g. 85-100% Excellent, 75-84% Good, 60-74% Satisfactory. REIKI DIPLOMA LEVEL TWO CASE STUDIES PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY task one All candidates are required to carry out TWO individual Absent Healing case studies. A minimum of THREE treatments for each client is necessary. ONE client of which must be attuned to Reiki 2. Each candidate will submit an in-depth program of healing, which covers: o Introduction of client o Presenting problem brief medical history o Arranged Timing of Treatment o Sensations felt/experienced (healer) o Preferred method of Absent Technique Preparation of Self Advice given to client Other relevant information. Client Witness Testimony to include: o Sensations experienced during treatment o Actual state of relaxation e.g. sleep induced o Overall result upon presenting problem o Client evaluation of treatment Contra-actions experienced after treatment e.g. nausea, dizziness, excessive urination/bowel movement Other relevant information Student conclusion to include: o Aftercare/advice given to client (possible healing crisis) o Details of further treatment (s) o Comparison of treatments between attuned client and non-attuned (if any). task two Candidates are required to receive at least TWO absent healing treatments, and will provide their own Witness Testimonies for this. task three The tutor will arrange with the candidate a suitable time/date in order to receive ONE absent healing session from the candidate. A feedback sheet, including details of recognition/confirmation from the Tutor, will be presented to the examiner for inspection. 85-100% = Excellent, 75-84% = Good, 60-74% = Satisfactory, 0-59% = Below Standard.
