OPERATING THE USB POWER PRO BANK HIDDEN CAMERA IMPORTANT NOTICE: Allow the device to charge 4 6 hours before using. HOW TO CHARGE THE HC POWER BANK PRO 1. Insert the Micro USB Adapter into the Adaptable USB Cable 2. Insert the Micro USB Adapter into the Micro USB Port of the HC Power Bank Pro 3. Insert the Adaptable USB Cable into the USB port of your computer The blue indicator light #3 will turn on while charging TIP: You can use the HC Power Bank Pro while it is charging HOW TO TURN THE HC POWER BANK PRO ON/OFF 1. Ensure you have inserted a MicroSD Card into the MicroSD Card Slot 2. Press the Power button The blue indicator light #3 will turn on o The device is now ON and in standby mode 3. To turn the device off, press and hold the Power button The blue indicator light #3 will turn off o The device is now OFF TIP: If the blue indictor light #3 is flashing you need to insert a MicroSD Card into the MicroSD Card Slot HOW TO RECORD VIDEO MANUALLY 1. In standby mode press the Power button once (do not hold) The blue indicator light #3 will flash slowly three times and then turn off. Video is now be recorded 2. Press the Power button again to stop and save recording 3. The device is now back in standby mode HOW TO TAKE SINGLE PHOTOGRAPHS 1. In standby mode, quickly press the Power button twice The blue indicator light #3 will flash once o Your photo has been saved HOW TO RECORD AUDIO ONLY 1. In standby mode, quickly press the Power button three times The blue indicator light #3 will stay on continuously and blue indicator light #4 will flash while recording audio 2. Press the Power button again to stop recording HOW TO RECORD VIDEO USING MOTION DETECTION 1. In standby mode, quickly press the Power button four times The blue indicator lights #3 and #4 will flash. When movement is detected, indicator #3 turn off and indicator #4 will flash slowly. 2. Press the Power button again to return to standby mode TIP: In motion detection mode your video will be saved every 1 minute HOW TO USE THE FLASHLIGHT FUNCTION 1. In standby mode, quickly press the Power button 5 times 2. To turn off the flashlight, press the Power button 1 time HOW TO CHARGE OTHER DEVICES 1. RETRIEVE THE FILES ON YOUR COMPUTER 1. Turn the device ON 2. Insert the USB Cable into the USB port of your computer 3. Insert the USB Cable into the DC 5V 1A USB port on the device 4. Locate Removable Disk inside the (My) Computer folder AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files Or HOW TO SET THE TIME/DATE STAMP (Windows only) 1. Turn on the device 2. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable The device should automatically appear as a removable disc drive 3. Open the removable disc drive 4. Right click below the DCIM folder with your mouse 5. Scroll down to New 6. Click Text Document 7. Name New Text Document as timeset IMPORTANT NOTICE: The title must be in all lowercase letters 8. Double Left =click the timeset text document to open it 9. Enter the current Year.Month.Day 10. Enter the current Hour:Minute:Seconds in Military format 11. Type Y to make the time stamp visible or type N to make the time stamp non visible. An example date is shown below: 2014.09.17 13:33:00 Y 12. Save the timeset text document by going to File > Save 13. Close the timeset text document 14. Disconnect the device from your computer 15. Power on the device. Any files recorded will now have the time and date you just set ADJUSTING THE VIDEO RESOLUTION Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk While you can adjust the video resolution, it is not recommended. The device has a default video resolution of 1280x720 at 30 frames per second. This is a good choice between resolution and video quality. If you still want to change the resolution, please use the following steps: 5. Open the Removable Disk drive 6. Open the DCIM folder 7. Double click the file you want to view VLC Player is recommended for watching videos 1. Connect the device to your computer. 2. Open the removable disk drive. 3. Below the DCIM folder, right click, go to New, then choose Text Document 4. Name the document sizeset (all lowercase) 5. Double Click to open the text file.
6. The contents of the file will be a single number in accordance with the following options: 1 1920 x 1080 @ 10 fps 2 1280 x 720 @ 30 fps 3 640 x 480 @ 30 fps 4 320 x 240 @ 30 fps 7.
