Computer Camp Software EDMODO Edmodo is a learning management tool used to digitally manage student resources and progress, and help organize our camp content. We are using Edmodo because: o We can organize our camps more efficiently o We can award badges for camp achievements o We can post materials for students to view after camps conclude o Students can post their work to their Backpack in their Edmodo account and access it later from another computer from home. Parent permission o Edmodo requires the creation of an Edmodo account and permission from parents of students under 18 years of age. See Edmodo s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. o Internet safety is stressed throughout camps: Students are encouraged not give out any information other than their first names on anything they submit to Edmodo; Nothing will be made public all work will stay within the course group; Some student work may be used or demoed in camps in later years (as exemplars), but no names will be used. You may choose not to participate and use Edmodo but we believe its benefits greatly outweigh any minor inconveniences. If you have any questions about the use of Edmodo, please contact one of the camp leaders.
