Tout le Monde How does Tout le monde work? One level of Tout le monde is equivalent to a year s teaching. Each level contains 5 modules, consisting of a collection of resources based around a central theme. The stimulus material is delivered as an electronic Big Book or cartoon animation and supported by flashcards, whole-class interactive activities and independent pupil activities. Teach to your timetable > Designed to be flexible tailor your French lessons to suit you and your children. > Adapt each unit according to the length of time you have available, whether it s 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour. > Each module in Levels 3 and 4 contains a cross-curricular focus that will help you to integrate French with other subject areas. Practice and Assessment > Built-in progression and assessment throughout. > Each module has 6 differentiated interactive pupil activities pupil scores are tracked online automatically so you can review progress at any time. > Assessment takes place in four skill areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. > All individual assessment tasks are matched against the grades of the Languages Ladder. Module 3 Point to body parts Point to the six body parts one at a time and say: la tête, le nez, etc. Ask the class Children copy to copy your actions. Gradually stop performing the actions, and see if the children still know what to do. 4 Images cachées Select Images cachées. Ask the class to guess what is behind one of the windows Class guess, then reveal (Devinez!). After they have made a guess, ask C est correct? Click to clean the Hide and remember window and say oui or non as appropriate. When all pictures have been revealed, click on each window to hide them again (or click on the hide/reveal icon to hide them all at once) and see if the class can remember the words and the positions. Note that if you click on the reset arrow, the positions will change!
