Supporting layer made of PP + magnesium silicate Made of mineral-reinforced highly crystalline polypropylene, the intermediate layer is decisive for the tremendous resistance, solidity and rigidity, while simultaneously ensuring the pipe system s extreme toughness. 3. Internal layer made of PP This layer stands out due to its excellent resistance to chemicals in the 2 13 ph range, as well as the optimized flow behaviour resulting from its low roughness. Ring Rigidity The POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 10 pipe features a ring rigidity of 10 kn/m 2 (ring rigidity class SN 8). In class SN 8, the high ring rigidity of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 10 provides an ample margin of safety for virtually all installation and operational loads. POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12, classified in ring rigidity class SN 12, offers an additional measure of reliability.

The opened ground on the test site was classified as belonging to soil class GS6. Despite the extremely poor conditions prevalent in the ground, the suitability of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM for this type of application was confirmed. Longitudinal stability testing by OFI - Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology In order to lay gravity sewage pipes with little gradient, the pipe has to be of high longitudinal rigidity. The wall structure of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM pipes ensures that the ring rigidity is matched by outstanding longitudinal rigidity. POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12 and POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 10 meet this requirement in an outstanding manner. A specially developed, reinforced PP BLEND external layer reduces the thermal absorption rate and thus contributes significantly to the longitudinal stability. Superior impermeability and long-term impermeability The leak test reveals the truth: Even in the event of extreme pipe deformation, the socket connection retains its tightness. The long-term impermeability of the elastomer sealing ring connection is achieved by testing the clamping pressure and the impermeability of the pipe connection in line with EN 14741. POLO-EHP control for POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM With the new cleaning pipe POLO-EHP control in the dimensions DN/OD 110 up to DN/OD 200, POLOPLAST once again proves its competence for innovative problem solutions. POLO-EHP control allows the straightforward maintenance, inspection and cleaning of pipework. Conforming to the system, it is made from polypropylene to complement the POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM programme. Long-term stress test Due to the combination of materials used, POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM pipes have high layer adhesion strength and excellent creep rupture strength, coupled with superior abrasion resistance and long-term impermeability. The flushing pressure at the nozzle is 120 (±5) for 25 (50) flushing cycles and a flushing water volume of > 80 l/min. Abrasion resistance POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM offers high reliability due to the impact and abrasion resistant PP material. A load duty of 200.000 results in an abrasion of only 0.08 mm. This value lies far below the required lower limit.
