Cassie Ross Originally from Vail, CO, I moved to Port Townsend, WA when I was 8. I have been racing mountain bikes for 4 years. My favorite riding conditions are rainy and muddy! The more mud, the better. I am excited to see where racing will take me in the future, I love traveling to races and testing myself against other riders. In addition to riding bicycles, I enjoy other things such as reading, exploring in the mountains, and baking cookies. Eivind Andreas Roed I am a 23 year old mountain biker from Asker, Norway. I started racing at the age of 16. Before that I raced XC skiing. The highlights of my career so far were to compete in the mountain bike World Championship and a top 10 result in the Norwegian Elite Championships. My goal is to go pro. I`m looking forward to be part of the CMU cycling team and ride a lot of awesome trails in Grand Junction. Steven Adams I've been racing BMX since I got my first race bike for my 10th birthday, and the only break I've ever taken from cycling was the year I spent studying abroad in Germany. If I could, I would sleep for 12 hours every day, but I've found that coffee is a delicious substitute for sleep.

Eric Pipkin I'm from Grand Junction, I've been racing bikes for about 4 years, and I have tried almost every discipline of cycling, but mountain biking is by far my favorite. I've always loved riding bikes, and my goal is to continue having fun riding bikes, get faster and learn new skills on the bike and off. I'm looking forward to being on the CMU cycling team! Robbie Farrens First I d like to say something about my relationship with cycling. I first began riding when I was 9, and started racing when I turned 11 and absolutely fell in love with it. I want to list off a few cycling accomplishments that I m proud of; in 2009 I won the CA road race state championship for the 10-12 year old boys, went on to win the 2011 road race national championship, as well as the CA cyclocross state champion for the 13-14 age group. The summer after my freshman year of high school I raced in Belgium with USA cycling along with 5 other 15-16 year olds who were more or less the best in the nation. Since then I ve raced on and off, but have done some recreational riding, and made more of a conscious effort to keep up with my academics. In the time of on/off racing I experimented with surfing, mountain biking, track cycling, kayaking, hiking, and socializing. That last one has been my favorite. I love to play board games, try new things, and meet new people. I also like to read books and watch Saturday Night Live when I get the chance. Thanks for giving me this chance I look forward to meeting all of you this fall! Derrik Blackmore - 3rd at the 2014 USAC national championship - raced the 2012 UCI world championships in Birmingham, UK - raced the 2013 UCI world championships in Auckland, NZ - raced the 2014 UCI world championships in Rotterdam, NED

Garrett Rodstrom I grew up here in Grand Junction. I started out my riding career doing BMX racing when I was about 13. I had tons of fun with it and finished on the podium in most events. After about 3 years on the track I decided I had more fun on bikes at the skate park or cruising around town. I stopped racing, got a job at a local bike shop for the next 4 years, and rode BMX freestyle religiously. I eventually decided to try out these fancy "big bikes" and thus was my mountain biking induction. I've been riding mountain seriously for about 2 years now, but still play around with other realms of biking. This will be my first season racing mountain, and I hope to learn as much as possible, and have a good time in the process. Zach Sedivy My names Zach, I have been racing downhill mountain bikes for four years. I started riding the same way a lot of others did with a small BMX jump in the driveway and took off from there. I love the sport and look forward to having an opportunity to continue riding and check out new locations. Collin Hudson Achievements so far include: 2014 Silver Medalist, Time Trial world championships Junior Elite 2014 National Champion, Junior Elite 2014 World rank #8 Junior 5x Challenge World Champion, 2010-2013 3x USA Cycling Amateur National Champion 3x ABA NAG 1 2008 Downhill USAC National Champion 2009 2nd Downhill USAC Nationals I attend Niwot High School, I am currently living in Longmont, Colorado and my desired major is in Sports Science or Sports Medicine. Some of my short term goals include: Becoming an Olympic athlete, Winning the Junior Worlds in 2015, Podiuming at downhill national Championship, making multiple Supercross World Cup finals, Finishing in the top 10 world ranking for elite riders. After racing ends I would like to become a coach in sports lifting, and possibly coach the US National BMX team.

Mauro Rato My name is Mauro Rato. I am transferring from Mars Hill University to join the Colorado Mesa University Cycling Team. I am originally from northern Spain, from a city named Gijon in Asturias. I am 21 and I started in cycling eleven years ago. I mostly participate in track and a road. In Spain I ride for the Ciclista Colloto-Ciudad de Oviedo team where I am able to grow as a cyclist. Last summer I had a very serious crash where I broke 6 vertebrae and I had to be off the bike for 6 months. However, with a lot effort and training every day I recovered a 100%. I almost quit cycling but with the help of my family and friends I stayed with my cycling and pursue my dreams. My major is business and I will be a junior this year. Last semester I achieved a 3.94 GPA. My personal goal is trying to become a professional cyclist in the future and I personally feel that Colorado Mesa University can be a place where I am able to attain this goal. I am so excited about this new adventure and looking forward to meet all my teammates and start to work to reach the team goals at track nationals and next year at road nationals. I have been BMX racing since I was 8 years old and have dedicated much of my time since then to the sport. All anyone needs to know about me is that I'm a biker. I love it and hope to add a lot to the CMU cycling team.

Carter Anderson I am Carter Anderson coming from Dunwoody High School in Atlanta Georgia. I am a cross country mountain biker on the cycling team. Biking has always been a huge part of my life, as I have been racing since the age of 10. In my racing career I have competed in over 150 races, eight nationals races, and been the Southeastern junior champion four times. Last year I was the NICA Georgia High School mountain bike series Co-Champion. I also have interests in working on cars and trucks. I own a 1967 Mercury Cougar that is a project of mine. I love to do anything outdoors such as camping, hiking, and obviously biking. I look forward to attending Colorado Mesa and race with the cycling team, it will be a great experience and I will hopefully get some great memories out of it.
