Superior Ergonomics From the ground up, we designed the C5 to be more comfortable and user-friendly for the operator. Nowhere is this more apparent than with the system s overall structure. All control elements of the C5 are easily accessed, creating an ideal perfusion workspace. The outer dimensions have been reduced and standardized, making the C5 perfect for smaller or hybrid OR s. The horizontal system panel and the positioning of the pump panels allows for improved ergonomic viewing of all texts and symbols. The unique design with improved legroom permits the operator to remain comfortable in close proximity to the system. Advanced Technology The C5 s sophisticated yet intuitive user interface can be quickly confi gured, permitting an easy change to accommodate different perfusion protocols and individual patient needs. It features the latest technologies, such as high resolution TFT-touch screens, direct-drive roller pumps and incremental speed encoders to ensure years of trouble-free performance. Sorin Group s advanced Data Management System (DMS) is available for use with C5 to achieve the most complete and sophisticated data collection for the perfusion case record. The DMS automatically records all values and events of the heart-lung machine and external devices (e.g. patient monitors, blood gas analyzers, ACT meters and cerebral oximetry devices) giving you the point of care tools needed to improve performance. C5 Optipack The C5 Optipack has been designed by our Applications Engineers to effi ciently match the C5 perfusion system. This pre-assembled and low-prime circuit is designed for optimal performance with the C5.
