The Unique Registration Facility (URF) is an online web interface that provides access to the registration service by Participant Portal It is a European Commission service producing unique identification for organisations to apply for to apply to several European Programmes as Erasmus+ 2 1
Main features and requirements: URF enables potential applicants to perform: the organisation registration itself (registration of your own organisation or registration on behalf of another organisation), and the update of organisation data. As a participant, you are only required to register once URF then assigns you a unique Participant Identification Code (PIC 9 figures) 3 Before registration to URF? You must have an ECAS (European Commission's user Authentication Service) account to be able to start the initial registration procedure. Is your organisation already registered? You may search for the existing PIC-codes for the registered organisation via this link: http://ec.europa.eu/education/participants/portal/ This functions before signing in to Participant Portal with the ECAS passwords In the Erasmus+ application you may utilise PIC-codes with Validated, Declared or Sleeping -status. 5 ECAS registration: http://ec.europa.eu/education/participants/portal/desktop/en/home.html 6 3
Sign up to URF with the ECAS Subsequent for the creation of ECAS account, you receive the confirmation by email which requires to change the password 7 Register your organisation http://ec.europa.eu/education/participants/portal/ NB! Your ECAS profile name should be visible here. 8 4
2. How to enter data for your organisation The URF Registration Wizard provides an easy step-by-step procedure for initial registration 9 Data input to the WELCOME page 10 5

If your organisation is already registered, you receive following notification The Registration Wizard contains a preliminary step (the Welcome page) in order to check whether the organisation that is to be registered already exists in the database Behind More details button you may find more information If you wish to input new information, choose Next Behind Contact button you may send an message to the PIC-code holder 11 Data input to the ORGANISATION page. 12 6
Data input to the ADDRESS page 13 Data input to the Contact page Contact = the PIC contact person of the organisation should be the same person as the ECAS account holder. This person is responsible for keeping the organisational data updated. 14 7

Verify the data before confirmation Confirm the organisation data entered to URF and you find your organisation specific PIC code Now you may use the optained PIC code as a partner in the Erasmus+ application 17 Data modifications in URF You can view and modify your organisation's data from the "My Organisations" tab (by clicking the VO or MO button next to the respective organisation) in the main menu 18 9
NB!
