To further clarify our intent and position regarding the policy, UST Mamiya has a 3 strikes enforcement system for customers found violating the MAP policy. It shall be in UST Mamiya s sole judgment that a violation has occurred and violating customers are notified as follows: First Infraction - Written notification by Certified Mail to the violating party that shipment of those models advertised below MAP will be discontinued for a period of 30 days from the date of the notice. Second Infraction - Written notification by Certified Mail to the violating party that shipment of those models advertised below MAP will be discontinued for a period of 90 days from the date of the notice. Third Infraction - Final written notification by Certified Mail to the violating party that sales of all UST Mamiya products will be discontinued as of the date of the notice and the customer will be removed from our database. Exception: If the violating party does not violate the MAP policy again for a period of 18 months after the date of the notification of the 1st violation, a written request may be submitted to UST Mamiya to have the first strike removed, and the customer status is cleaned.
