Our portable 3D scanner is quite easy to use. A foot is placed in mid-aiir in order to capture its full geometry at 1mm precision. It relies on Active Stereo algorithms, and not a moving laser. Older devices relyingon laser technque needed moving hardware parts thus are significantly slower and more pricey. The Scanbox scans blazing fast at 0,1s and is used for scanning feet, foam boxes and plaster moulds anywhere. Portable and economic Our unit proves every shop can provide a custom footsole for their clients. A low price with no maintenance needed, give a high return of investment value. Your clients are done in a flash, and the file is ready to be sent to the factory without the need of physical shipping of foam boxes. Usage outline The Scanbox Mini can be used in many situations. The best lighting conditions (optimal) is at 10 lux, although slightly more is ok. The unit basically operates right out of the box. Simply install the software, connect the unit and make a scan. There is no other thing to it. 5 Step workflow Quick and easy workslow is key for the unit. So the unit was designed with simplicity in mind to ensure it can be operated by people with no technological skill at all.
