Introduction James Latham s range of melamine-faced MDF and chipboard panels offers an unrivalled choice of pre-fi nished surfaces. Supplied ready for installation, our decors, which include recognised brands such as, Kronospan, Finsa and Rehau matching A Edging, offer both traditional and contemporary fi nishes which can be used in many applications including furniture, shopfi tting, bedrooms, kitchens, caravans and many more. Melamine is also extremely easy to maintain and exceptionally hard wearing, providing the fl exibility to explore different interior design trends and making it a perfect solution for commercial interiors. Egger, who are recognised as the market leaders for decor development, offer over 100 decors in both MFC and decorative MDF from the ZOOM collection. Due to the recent developments in the quality and realism of decor reproductions melamine fi nishes are increasingly being specifi ed for use in major commercial projects such as shops and hotels, as well as being the key material in many furniture applications ranging from kitchens and bedrooms to living rooms and bathrooms. The genius of Kronospans new Natural Touch Range Touch is to take those prized qualities of grain and tone and deliver them in a consistent form through a manufactured board. It allows designers to realise their work perfectly in production, time after time with incredibly realistic graining and exceptional consistency in colour and form. Finsa s new Superpan Decor consists of two external MDF faces and a chipboard core coated with a decorative melamine paper. Due to its smooth and compact fi bre wood surface, Superpan Decor enables a perfect cutting, signifi cantly reducing surface chipping, therefore improving effi ciency. Superpan Decor also eliminates the effect of particle telegraphing on the surface, which is most visible in the higher gloss fi nishes. Superpan Décor s improved bending strength and modulus of elasticity make it the board of choice for quality furniture production. New to James Lathams is a stock range of 440 x 10 x mm Woodgrain MF MDF from UNILIN. The size of the boards makes handling easy and is ideal for fi nishing all kinds of interior projects. UNILIN has designed a new range in-house for this, with different, exclusive wood patterns. In addition, the collection also includes a number of fantasy designs that can be used in combination or as stand-alone. REHAU Edging RAUKAEX color show your true colours RAUKAEX color presents itself with an almost unlimited colour spectrum. All colour tones incl. the RAL scale and also different gloss levels: matt to high gloss, lacquered with UV lacquers, are available. The right appearance is given to the edgeband though a choice of lacquer effects and / or embossing. Mirror-gloss effect for example is created by applying a high-gloss lacquer to our A and PVC edgebands. Materials Overview: RAUKAEX in PVC PVC is more versatile than any other material and has formed the basis for edgeband for decades: RAUKAEX in PVC has universal material properties, which makes this material the most used edgeband material worldwide. PVC is easy to process, self-extinguishing, light fast to at least level 7, has good chemical resistance, can be recycled and, if burned correctly, incinerated. Furthermore, PVC with its low primary energy consumption during manufacture and low eco and human toxicity in water, marks it as one of the materials with a good eco-balance. RAUKAEX in A A is another member of the thermoplastic materials family for edgeband. This impact, light and heat resistant material can be recycled or incinerated. A is also chlorine-free. A is as easy to process as PVC and can be processed on all usual edgebanders.
