What is Home Care? Home Care encompasses a wide array of health and supportive services delivered in your own home. Home Care can help when chronic or terminal illness, recovery from an accident, or a disability make basic daily tasks too challenging. Home Care workers provide hands-on help with personal care and household chores as well as emotional support and companionship. JASACare For over 45 years, the Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) has been the leading and most-trusted agency caring for older adults in the New York Metropolitan community. JASACare, JASA s Home Care service provider, goes above and beyond to ensure expert, individualized in-home assistance for older adults and their families. We specialize in providing services that allow seniors and disabled individuals to stay in the comfort of their own homes whenever possible. JASACare services are available in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island.

Personal Care Plans JASACare understands that living in your own home as you age or recover from illness is essential. We know that each person requires a different level and type of support. JASACare creates individualized personal care plans to meet these unique needs. JASACare s skilled and caring Home Care workers are dedicated to the care of older adults. They are certified and experienced in their field, and always strive to treat those in their care with respect and compassion. Our Home Care employees are multilingual and have training and experience in specialty areas such as geriatrics, Alzheimer s/ Dementia, stroke, cancer, HIV/AIDS, and more. JASACare is a New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) licensed agency providing home health aide, personal care assistance, and nursing services. We are a network provider for many health plans offering managed long-term care, including Medicare Advantage Plus and PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). JASACare serves more than 1,000 individuals annually and employs 1,400 home attendants and home health aides, all certified in accordance with NYSDOH regulations, and thoroughly screened with extensive criminal background checks.
