Research Activity The research activities of prof. Ruocco in different fields of Engineering Thermodynamics is documented by the following publications. The themes on which the prof. Ruocco was mainly dedicated in the course of his scientific activity are the PHENOM- ENA OF TRANSPORT (momentum, heat, mass), both in environmental and industrial applications. The research was carried out by developing the methodological and applicative aspects through both experimental and numerical investigations. Most of his research has been carried out under national projects funded by the Ministry of University. In 2004 prof. Ruocco founded the research group CFDfood, in order to pursue innovation in engineering food through experimental and computational innovative methodologies. In 2010 prof. Ruocco founded the group CFDINNOVA, which is currently under evaluation for transformation into an academic spin-off.
