As an Accenture Alum 1, you are able to refer candidates for open positions via the Submit a Referral page located on the Alumni Network Site. All former employees of Accenture and Andersen Consulting are welcome to refer candidates for open positions at Accenture. If your candidate is hired, you could be eligible for a referral reward. How do I submit a referral? All Alumni Referrals are submitted via the Alumni Referral web page located on the Alumni Network Site. Visit the Jobs link on the Alumni Network website to view all open positions in Accenture. You can use the Browse Jobs Search Engine to find positions at your location. What makes a valid referral? The following requirements make a candidate referral valid: o The candidate is open to exploring career opportunities in Accenture. o The candidate s skills/level matches the current basic position requirements at Accenture. o No current Accenture employee or member of the Alumni Network has prior claim to referring the same candidate. o The candidate is not associated with agencies or companies that have existing "hiring restriction" agreements with Accenture. o The candidate's resume has not been acquired from other Accenture Recruitment Sourcing channels and currently being processed (e.g. CV downloaded from internet job sites and being processed). Which cases render referral invalid? The following scenarios make a candidate referral invalid: o Candidates who are former Accenture employees and have resigned less than one year before the referral date. o Candidates who are currently being assessed or interviewed in Accenture at the time the referral was made. o Candidates who have deferred their application in Accenture within the past three months at the time the referral was made. o Candidates who have declined Accenture s offer at the time the referral was made.
o Candidates who are currently employed by current Accenture clients, service providers or other entities where we have HIRING RESTRICTION agreements. o Candidates who were previously employed by Accenture clients/service providers and are within the one year hold-off period. How long does it take to process a referral? Recruiting makes every effort to respond to alumni referrals in a timely manner. You will receive immediate confirmation of your referral submission as well as status on your referral within 5 business days of submission. The referral candidate s information will then be reviewed against Accenture s current business needs. If the candidate s qualifications match an open business need, Recruiting will contact the candidate. The recruitment process for an open position may take as long as 30 calendar days, depending on the position. Alumni referrals that do not match a current open position will be retained in our database for a period of 12 months and will be revisited to match against business needs.
Will I be informed of my referral s progress? Yes, you will be updated with the progress of the referred candidate by email, at significant stages of the recruitment process. You may also make a follow up by contacting alumni.referral@accenture.com You will also be notified if your referral is hired and will be given details on how to claim your reward. What do I do if my referral tells me that Accenture has not yet contact him or her? You will receive a notification from Accenture s recruitment team, informing you whether your referral is valid or invalid. If your referral is invalid, this means that your candidate did not meet Accenture s qualifications. In this case, he/she can expect an email from an Accenture recruiter. If your referral is valid but did not hear from an Accenture recruiter, this could be due to any of the following reasons: 1. The contact information provided is incorrect. Please ask your candidate to double check if the contact information in his or her resume is correct. You can update your referral s contact information by sending an email to alumni.referral@accenture.com 2. Unavailability of candidate to answer a phone call. Please advise your candidate to expect a call or text message during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm local time).
3. There is no current open position that matches your candidate s qualifications. Alumni referrals that do not match a current open position will be retained in our database for a period of 12 months and will be revisited to match against business needs. What if my referral decides to withdrawn his or her application? Please ask your candidate to inform his or her recruiter. How will I know if my candidate is hired? You will be notified if your referral is hired and will be provided with details on how to claim your reward. Referring via Alumni Referral web page is a more direct way for your referral to reach the start of our recruitment process. Your referral will be processed quicker and you can be assured that you will receive credit for your referral and any associated bonus or reward.
What are the rewards? Award amounts for referrals hired into Accenture are determined by the hiring country.
