2015.16 Seventh Grade, Social Studies, Quarter 1 The Fall and Legacy of Rome and the Early Modern World Civilizations of Africa, China, and the Islamic World: Students analyze the legacy of the Roman Empire and the consequences of the fall of the Roman Empire. Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, social, and religious structures of the civilizations in Africa, China, and the Islamic World. Students will also make connections of which civilizations influence the United States today in our form of government, architecture, and language. Students will also analyze the geographic, political, economic, social, and religious structures of the civilizations.
