JB EQUIEMETS: Description of Minimum Job equirements ormal Education College level coursework (64 credit hours) in criminal justice, police science, public/business administration, or a related field. An Associate s Degree is preferred, and a Bachelor s Degree is highly desirable. Experience our (4) years successful experience as a sworn police officer with at least three (3) recent and consecutive years of satisfactory performance evaluations. Supervision Work requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees including providing input on hiring, disciplinary actions, work objectives, effectiveness, performance evaluations, and realigning work as needed.
